I’ve had nothing but disappointments and stress since i’ve been at Quail Heights. The management is horrible, including the so-called rental agent Miriam who’s as grumpy and rude a woman you’ll ever meet. Maintenance/Management have no respect for the residents and can’t fix a thing to save their lives. You gotta go call 12 times and yell if you want anything done by them. The elevators break down literally every other day and the entry gates are made of cardbox or something so they break on a regular basis too — so much for security. The apartments and appliances are old, which I knew when I moved in but I didn’t expect my oven, stove and shower to break down or malfunction within a few weeks of use. Note to prospective renters : — There’s a big construction project starting in June in the building next door so we’ll be covered in dust and noise during the only 6 months where we can actually enjoy being outside on the balcony. — You actually have tp pay to go to the so-called pool for residents — $ 10 a pop or $ 140 for the season. They don’t tell you this when you inquire before moving in. — They also advertise having a tennis court — it’s unusable and they said they don’t intend to fix it because they can’t make it stick. Come on, it’s not rocket science! Anyway, so much for that. The only advantage of this place is that the apartments are a bit bigger than average for the area, which is I came here in the first place. But needless to say, there’s too many annoyances to living here and i will be moving out soon without looking back. I don’t advise anyone to live here.

I have lived in many places — from Queens to Hell’s Kitchen and I have NEVER had landlords as awful as the ones at Quail Heights. It’s a joke! From lack of repairs to poor up-keep to the obvious fact they don’t care, I am thankful I’ve succeeded in convincing a few people to NOT consider moving in here.

Fairly priced, well maintained, prompt service. I am always hearing horror stories about other rentals and condos on Prospect Avenue so I consider myself lucky. Have been in same apartment for twenty years. Only downside is management should automatically replace carpet and paint units for those that live there ten years. Also indoor garage area leaks. Still my choice. Miriam is a very knowledgeable and courteous leasing agent and Ann in the office is terrific. The maintenance men and Kyle and Keith take care of issues pronto.
