I happened upon Rick’s lovely little shop on Banta Place while searching for someone to work on a special project. A friend had, for her Final Project at F.I.T., created, in book form, a line of lingerie. Our idea was to create one of the items as a gift.
Rick was enthusiastic about the project and we worked out the details, choosing a lovely peachy beige silk charmeuse with black lace for the slip. He created a pattern and magically, the design was brought to life.
It took a bit of time to get the project completed, but the way I look at it, I wanted it to be Great, not Fast & Mediocre. The quality and caring is so apparent, and I am so glad we found Rick Bailey.
We are sure our friend will love seeing her design created.

I am a bridesmaid for a wedding and my dress needed a bodice and hem alteration. Rick Baileys Design did a beautiful job on the dress. I only had to go once and the dress was perfectly fitted with a great length. It was ready within a week.
The store looks a little hidden on Banta place in hackensack but your gps should take you right to it. Because it is a fancy bridesmaid dress. which I paid about $ 250 the alteration cost me $ 110.
