Tri-Tech is nothing less than an awful company. We contracted with Tri-Tech to design an addition. We paid the agreed upon amount to create the design. We didn’t hear back from Tri-Tech. Finally we met with the Tri-Tech owner and his wife and they created a design. The design was not complete and we never heard back from Tri-Tech after paying the full amount for the design, per the contract. They wouldn’t return calls or emails. They moved their location and doors were locked during business hours. They would not respond to emails and phone calls. My perception is that this company has serious cashflow issues. DONOT use this company.

Had to cut out details due to Unilocal’s character limit. The design/drawing contracted for was created without much of the discussed preparatory work and Tri Tech refused to neither acknowledge that nor make any attempt to remedy the situation. The delivery of the design was«promised» within 3 – 4 weeks, yet at 8 weeks was the first time Tri-Tech offered to make an appt to show us it after having to personally track down Tri Tech for updates as most calls/emails were not returned or replied. During the home visit the Owner stated that the town«may» require us to widen the stairwell if we were to turn them around, but it is possible this could be avoided as the«stair landings were not to be disturbed» and widening them could cause a lot of added work/remodel of other rooms on the 1st floor. Also stated that this was a «total remodel of the second floor», so the town may require the stairs to be widened either way to be brought up to code. This was a very important point to clarify prior which was understood by both parties. We assumed it was factual as it came from the Owner of Tri-Tech Modular Homes & Construction Group, LLC whom is a «professional in this field for over 10 years» as he told us many times to validate his statements. The agreement BEFORE signing the design contract was that he would be contacting the town ASAP to garner any information he could and thus we could decide how to have them design them. We never heard from them. At wk 4 calls to the office and Designer had no answer/no call back. Then an email was sent to them which the Designer replied we would hear back the following week. Around wk 6 we calls to both #s and no reply. Wk 7 once again calls with no reply, then I called the Owner on his cell. He promised contact by the Designer within 1 wk. Wk 8 again calls placed to office/designer and no replies. June 26th an email was sent referencing it being 8+ wks and we must see the designs within one week or we want the depoist back. This finally resulted in the agreement for the designs to be shown on July 2nd. As I wanted to confirm everything was in order, I placed a call to Tri-Tech’s office. I spoke to the Owner. While asking about the staircase topic, He seemed a bit confused to my question. The statement that day(8 weeks later) made on the phone by the Owner was that any work on the staircase must meet code and thus legal requirement would cause the stairs to be widened no matter so why would he call the town. This statement is a direct conflict to the statements made during the home visit that it is possible to avoid that. Repeated efforts to come to an agreement on this matter were met with debate and repeatedly the Owner cut off statements I tried to make to explain our side. During this call he also repeatedly contradicted himself, and claimed her did not. We decided to end the discussion and are now investigating options to recoop our deposit due to Tri-Tech’s breach of contract and misleading statements prior to the signature of such contract.
