This guy has an online business called«homeandapt.com». I was really stupid and did not do my research. I sent him $ 1100 for a wood two-seat sofa and also sent him $ 250 worth of fabric for the cushions. He promised delivery in June and now in September I have finally filed a dispute with VISA to get at least some of my money back. As a last ditch effort he has shipped me a small package which I assume is some of the cushions but the actual piece to put them on is no where in sight so I have refused delivery. He tweeted hashtag #getalifejane when I tweeted a warning not to do business with him so that tells you his level of professionalism. He is a shyster plain and simple. He will pocket your money and lie to you. His Better Business Bureau is «F» and he deserves it.

RUN! Do not even consider doing business with Marc. He is a CROOK and a LIAR. Item arrived months later, and not as agreed. To call the re-upholstery work unprofessional is an understatement; it is plain out atrocious. Item is torn and broken and Marc will not respond to any calls or emails. Surprised he is still in business.

Fall of 2013, I bought a sofa that got reupholstered, two in-tables and a coffee table. It was delivered early December of quality less than satisfactory. Upon delivery, I asked that two cushions be redone as they didn’t fit the sofa correctly nor match up as a sectional. Additionally, only one side of the cushions were finished with covered buttons, the other side was a tied string so that I am unable to flip them for wear. Also, the nap of the chenille is in the wrong direction, a completely amateur finish which cost me over $ 700 for fabric and shipping. The leg on one table was damaged and broke revealing a particle board bottom, not teak wood mid century anything. For months I’ve been texting and emailing with repeated promises to redo the cushions and fix the table leg. He has stopped responding and now I’ve no hope to even get back the extra fabric FORWHICH I PAIDSEPARATELYANDSHOULDOWNOUTRIGHT. I would definitely not recommend this biz, especially now I’ve read the other reviews.

HORRIBLE! Chair arrived broken and unusable. He has yet to reply to any of my 25 emails or calls and has been non-responsive regarding repayment. So upsetting.

If it were possible to rate this business a ‘zero’, I would. Marc is a bad businessman, who does NOT know his product(literally could tell me nothing about the ‘designer’ whose stamp was on the dresser he sold me, in fact he was surprised when I tried to tell him the information I had found through google-ing the name), LIES about the condition and quality of his products(told me I was getting pieces in great shape that turned out to be covered in scratches and definitely in need of some reconditioning — then, when I alerted him of this he told me to use Pledge on the scratches as if that were adequate repair!), and who, when my boyfriend and I made upwards of 10 attempts to contact him via phone(two phone numbers), text message, and email over the course of several days, refused to reply. His business makes no mention of a return policy(either no returns, or returns within reason). An honest businessman would accept a return on the purchase, but not refund delivery costs. We offered him this. He told me directly following our surprise and disappointment with his product that he would keep the dresser online for sale because other people were interested in it and questioning him about it. He then proceeded to remove the listing online, marking it sold. He is a LIER, a CHEAT, and DEFINITELYNOTWORTHDOINGBUSINESSWITH. I recommend staying away from this company and avoiding doing business with this uninformed, lying cheater. HOPETHISHELPS.
