Great Italian dishes, great service, fun atmosphere and music. Try their eggplant app — holy xxxx — it’s great!

Went on new years eve night for dinner. Was very busy, and had to wait a little but they treated us exceptionally well and the food was top notch and prices were fair. we had an awesome time, and will be going back!

Mama’s Café Baci. Been dying to stop in at this place during one of my many visits to my hometown of Warren County. I have to say, this spot is one of the best eateries in these parts. Sure, you have many diners and chain restaurants to choose from. But, Mama’s is a family-owned gem in a town that otherwise has slim pickins for really good food. Brought my sister here for her birthday a few days ago. She wanted to go to Applebee’s(UGH) but I quickly talked her into going to Mama’s after reading her the great reviews one by one. My sister has a 13 month old daughter, Kayla, so I was a bit worried if they would not be able to accommodate us and all the potential commotion. When they saw that little smiley cherub, they quickly brought out the high chair and some crayons so she could scribble(she ended up chewing on them as well LOL). With the potential for a cranky baby to erupt into tears and screaming at a moment’s notice, we ordered quickly and didn’t plan to stay long. We ordered the chicken risotto, seafood risotto and a mild version of their shrimp fra diavolo. For starters we ordered the Italian Wedding Soup which is one of my favorites next to French onion. I have to say, it was good, but I was a bit on the fence as to whether or not it was homemade. The bread the server delivered to the table was tasty indeed, with a little side of olive oil for dipping. I would have liked to see a bottle of balsamic vinegar on the table as well, but not the end of the world. When the main dishes arrived, we were in shock by how large the portions were. We easily could have shared a dish or two. My mom and sister let me try their dishes, I have to say, the chicken risotto was the clear winner of the night. The rice was cooked perfectly and was complimented with a smokey, bacon-speckled alfredo cheese sauce. Comfort food at it’s finest. My seafood risotto was also very good, but I kept finding(and sometimes crunching down on) little pieces of shell from the clams and mussels in the rice. Could be from them stirring too hard and breaking the fragile shells. Again, not the end of the world, but I had to be careful with each bite. The delicious pink vodka sauce more than made up for the shell fragments. The shrimp fra diavolo was tasty, the shrimp cooked perfectly and was served mild as requested. After wolfing down our food, my little niece went from cherub to little devil pretty quickly and we had to vacate the table before we starting to really disrupt the other patrons. I would definitely go back to Mama’s the next time I’m in town and have a hankering for some pasta. Very good service, ample parking and tasty Italian classic dishes. They even offer catering, both on and off premises. They are a bit more pricey than a diner or chain restaurant, but the flavor and quality you receive make it worth the stop. Molto Bene!

Food was very good. Had lunch there one day and they gave samples of their pasta so went back later for dinner. It was very crowded and just a little tight sitting but worth it since the food is great! Great service too! They make sure their customers are satisfied!

Outstanding! An expansive menu, highly personable service, casual atmosphere, and subtle live entertainment combine for a superb dining experience– at a very reasonable price. It’s like a favorite little local Manhattan experience. Do yourself a favor and listen to the owner, Thomas’s suggestions.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. From the staff to the food it’s amazing from start to finish! I try a new entrée every time I go there and have yet to be disappointed. Plus, a lot of my family members are vegan or gluten free so their menus really accommodate every type of diet. This is the only 5 star review I’ve given so far! Love this place!

Excellent Italian food for diverse clientele. They have wonderful food, service, ambience, and menus for diverse tastes and health choices. There is an extensive menu for people without dietary issues, but the amazing part is there is an extensive menu for those who need or prefer eating gluten free, vegetarian or vegan. Not only are there so many delicious choices, the foods are not just«salads and meats»(gluten free reference). No! With the assistance of registered dietitians, they developed menu items for all people! They also have separate fryers for the different foods: vegetarian, vegan and gluten free! There is literally too much to write about this restaurant and the people who make it work. The food is exceptional. It’s a real treasure.

I have been going to Mamas for years and have never had a bad experience. They go above and beyond for their guests and the food is delicious. Prices are a little high but it’s worth it, especially since it’s BYOB. The vegan menu is amazing and rare around these parts. I have become quite the regular there and I am always greeted with a smile.

For some strange reason I was craving lasagne. When I mentioned it to my girl friend she was having the same craving. Unilocal guided us here, and I’m not sorry. It’s important to me that the staff is friendly, or at the very least, that they appear to enjoy their job. To say that the staff here enjoyed their job is an understatement… they look like one big family. They work together to take care of their customers. They assist each other, fill in the gaps, and watch each other’s backs… it all adds up to a wonderful customer experience. The GF got the lasagne, but I caved to another favorite of mine… gnocchi(with meat sauce) mine was tasty, with a decent portion, but alas, the gnocchi were a little gummy… sigh. I finished her lasagne. Man that was good… the ratios between the meat, cheese, and pasta were perfect, and the portion was generous. My only complaint was the cured meat they use adds a little bit of salt… a little too much. Don’t get me wrong… it was delicious, just left me a bit thirsty.

I would give 5 stars if the food wasn’t so expensive. They have an entirely seperate menu for vegan/vegetarians. Their veggie sausage appetizer hits the spot!

I had the Tour of Italy which was just average with the meatballs sausage and veal. The fried calamari app was very good though. My wife and u actually came here because she is nursing our newborn who might have a dairy and soy allergy, so she is on a dairy and soy free diet. This place had a great dairy and soy free menu and took it very seriously. It made my wife happy and she was glad to have the risotto and said it was good. Overall, I’d give it a 3 star but bc they were so great with the vegan menu I gave it a 4 star. I get the feeling if I just got the pizza or Stromboli is be happier and would face spent less money.

What a lucky find! I admit, I’m kinda picky. I’ve been in the service industry for many years as an event planner and I pay attention when I try new places. The service at Mama’s was exceptional. I’m not sure of the formula that the staff uses to communicate, but I’ve never had better service and the entire staff got in on the action. The food was served piping hot and completely delicious. As a recent transplant to New Jersey, I’ve been kinda underwhelmed at the local restaurants. Mama’s was amazing. We received a free appetizer to sample. It was outstanding. When we left, we were given a gift bag with coupons and a menu. Not only can these folks run a restaurant and cook but they are marketers too! I’ll bring family and friends!

My new favorite italian place. Very good food, delicious sauce and their meatballs are great. I had the Tomasso’s speciall(I can’t remember the actual name) very good. My wife had the chicken parm, the chicken is very well seasoned, moist and they don’t pound it down to 1⁄8 inch thickness. We will definitely be back, I can’t wait to try some other dishes. The waitresses are all very nice(and attractive)!

We love it! The fresh calamari was just perfect and please be aware it’s very large portion too! I don’t really love my veel, but all my other friends love their main dishes, like spaghetti, sea food pizza. Will definitely come back with friends!

The best pasta restaurant I have ever been to in the United States. Every time I have been here I can honestly say I left full and satisfied. The customer service is great from the time you walk into the door and from the time you leave. I am not a big wine drinker but going to Mamas with family and friends I know for them it was a big hit that you could bring your own wine. Since you get bread with an amazing garlic dipping butter plus complimentary pasta, I don’t normally get an appetizer but when I do I prefer the fried calamari. Stay hungry my friends haha. Because the entrees are the best part I don’t like to fill up on an appetizer. My 2 favorites are the Chicken Parmesan and my go to Lobster Ravioli. My favorite combination is the fried calamari with lobster ravioli and for desert their cannolis. They have so many great pasta dishes and they have gluten free pasta which is also a big hit. 2 big thumbs up from me for Mamas.

I love this place! I’m gluten free and a vegetarian but my family members are not. This place is just perfect to satisfy all our needs. The food is delicious. There is not one bad dish. The staff is extremely attentive and polite. I will be coming here for years.

Service is really great! Got the chicken francese, it was ok, too oily and no lemon. But it was such a nice experience that I would love to go back to try my second option, the gnocchi

I’m gonna make this short and sweet. Service: impeccable. Table freebies. Staff work as a team. Ambiance: standard pizzaria restaurant. Outdoor seating with a wood burning stove. TV for sports. Food: extensive gluten-free, veg, and vegan menus. The staff are knowledgeable about special diets and have ingredient lists on hand. Best gluten-free pizza crust around(though it is frozen). It can even be purchased. Desserts are ok. Vegan/GF cupcake was not the greatest and too sweet. The carrot cake was wonderful– rich and not too sweet. PB truffles are good but not worth the price.
