Carole’s Candy Corner

I’m just like any other girl, I love chocolate. I am however a bit of a food snob and it goes for candy too… I am not a fan of Godiva. I would eat them but they don’t taste that great to me. So when my husband brought me home a box of assorted chocolates he and the kids picked for Valentine’s Day I was happy because it was chocolate, but I wasn’t expecting much. Holy cow, I was beyond pleasantly surprised… Her candies are unreal! My favorite is the chocolate with toasted coconut inside… Or the caramel marshmallows or the toffee chocolate covered pretzels… Ok so they were all my favorite. What a great surprise and they are in our town!

The little boy you told to leave today because you felt he was being rude is AUTISTIC.
The next time you chastise a child for speaking his mind you may want to stop and think first. Not only did I make him apologize for his behavior, but when we left he had a melt down because he could not understand what he did wrong. I had to leave Paint the Town Yellow which I was a vendor at because he was so upset. He was mad at me and embarrassed by your behavior.
My son is 8 years old and living with the challenges that he faces everyday because he is different. He can not help who he is and should not have to feel bad about himself because of rude people! He is an amazing little boy. So, Thank you for making me realize once again my son is not like other boys. He is special in every aspect of the word.
I pray that this is his last encounter with people like you, but I know this to be a sad false hope.

Absolutely adore Carole’s Candy. Great variety and friendly service. There’s the old timey ten cent candies and put together gift baskets. Wonder for everything from chocolate covered pretzels to gummi bears and taffy. Reasonably priced and in a great location with parking on the street out front or next to the train tracks.

Super charming corner candy shop in the perfect location. The owner (Carole — duh!) is super friendly and I often find myself chatting away far longer than my busy schedule permits. The shop has everything you need from gifts for dad or treats for the kids.
Complete with old time charm Carole’s Candy Corner is a place you should not pass up anytime you are in the area.
