We were very mislead into thinking that we chose a reputable DJ company. At first we were impressed with the value of their services and the degree of professionalism. Patrick DeMarco was very accomodating at first, speaking on the phone, doing a «Join Me» conference, and meeting in person(in a makeshift office). Patrick DeMarco sold us on assuring that we would have the dj that we expected and purple uplighting throughout the ballroom. After we paid ProMixDJs, Patrick became very difficult to reach. Phone numbers that we were provided were incorrect(one being a specialty pharmacy). Numerous e-mails and voicemails were left for him and never returned promptly. We asked to meet in person to go over the«wedding worksheet» that we filled out, but he only wanted to do a phone conference. 2 days before our wedding, we received an e-mail from Patrick telling us that DJ Mike(who we chose because he was«lively and energetic dance leader») backed out because he was sick with«strep throat» even though his dr’s appointment wasn’t until the following day. Patrick then assigned us DJ Anthony Robinson(DJ DocRob) who he said was just as lively and energetic as DJ Mike. Patrick said in his e-mail, «He can definitely bring the energy for your day and he is very similar to Mike with his focus on crowd reading…» The day of our wedding, DJ Anthony was scheduled to arrive at 5:00pm and arrived 5:21pm claiming that he was looking for a parking spot for 20 min. Our reception coordinator had been trying to get in touch with Patrick DeMarco hours before the event. Patrick was nowhere to be found. She called ProMixDJs and someone answered saying that there is no ProMixDJs company there, which was odd because one of the prompts said to press«3» for ProMixDJs. When DocRob arrived, he only brought 4 purple uplights for his DJ booth only when the entire room was supposed to have uplighting. During the wedding, DocRob was neither lively, nor energetic. He sat down and was on his laptop the whole time and did not say anything to anybody and had to be prompted several times to do his job. We had gone over the wedding worksheet which had all the details and timing of the events for the night, and he still needed to be told what to do and when several. Our videographer even had to help him with announcing the toasts. There was barely any crowd reading. The mix of the music despite the detailed list on our wedding worksheet was less than satisfactory. He repeated a song twice and only played 1 slow song. We were extremely disappointed in the services we were promised, not only was Patrick DeMarco inaccessible, our replacement DJ did not live up to our expectations. Although this fiasco did not totally ruin our wedding, our horrible experience with ProMixDJs will forever be a negative memory. PLEASEBECAUTIOUSWITHTHISCOMPANY. YOUGETWHATYOUPAYFOR.
