I headed into Quest as a walk-in about 20 minutes before they were closing last Monday. There were three people waiting ahead of me, and one person was working. It didn’t take long to be called back, which was good because I was very, VERY sick at the time and was having trouble keeping my head up. I requested a butterfly needle, per my blood-tradition, but the phlebologist said they were all out and stabbed me with another needle. It was fine. A few minutes later, all the vials were full and I was on my way. To note: No cell service since this Quest is in the lower level of the building. You might want to bring a book if you’re coming during a busy time.

Ok, let’s start at the beginning. I walked in and up to the counter. I was ignored. Finally, wordlessly I was handed the signin clipboard(they were too busy bitching about drivers cutting them off to say anything to me). A woman called me by the wrong name and once I corrected her, she told me to go be seated in room 2. Um, I have no idea where room 2 is but I found it. I asked her to draw blood from my hand, not my elbow. My veins in my elbow twist and most of the time I end up getting stuck many times and end up all bruised. She started arguing with me, telling me I was lumping her into a group, that I don’t know her skill level. She’s right, I don’t which is why I always request a hand draw. She ignored my request. She said, «I just want to see the veins in your elbow». Then proceeded, not gently to draw from my elbow. I was furious. I went to quest because my insurance company covers their lab work with no copay. I will be paying the copay to go to Loudres Care Center from now on.

Unilocal filtered my original review so i’m reposting this as a warning to people with special needs to avoid this Quest location A few employees at this particular Quest are extremely insensitive to people with special needs. I spent two weeks on the phone and visiting with them to set up a blood drop off for my son who was having sedation surgery in a nearby hospital and would be easier to have his blood drawn under sedation. Everything was set up to go and I raced to quest to drop off the blood, and the awful tech there told me she wouldn’t accept it. The tech from the day before who helped me set up the drop off wasn’t there that day. The awful tech told me I would have to bring him in for the blood draw and find people to come in with me to help restrain him! I ended up getting the blood done at the Haddon Heights location with out a problem. Extremely nice techs there. It seems the lazy cow at the Haddonfield location just didn’t feel like doing it.
