Great raw milk, and awesome farm! Love walking around petting the calves.

Great location Away from The hustle of rt9. Animals and other produce are there for kids but it’s the ice cream people come for. A lot of flavors — some a little odd like a bluish Cookie Monster which I’m sure the kids love — plus great classics like cookies & cream, pistachio & Orange pineapple. Servers are very nice & hustle to keep the lines moving!

Not one, but Two world class ice cream parlors 10 minutes drive from each other… Harrell’s ice cream parlor, and this place, Poinner Valley here we come! I got the Inez, grapenut and a third flavor that I don’t remember all of them were exceptionally good. I really loved the idea of having an ice cream shop on a farm, and you can walk in, to get close and personal with the cows… What a great concept! * no limits on the tastings, Fun times, I’ll be back…

Amazing stop for ice cream. The employees are always kind, patient, and helpful. The views are beautiful and it is lovely how you can visit with the cows and calves. Definitely try out the sweet cream flavor!

I love Flayvors, it’s so cute inside and they sell awesome t-shirts and soap and things. It’s really homey and the kids I babysit like to visit the cows outside after :)

Loved the atmosphere! The fact that your allowed to see touch and interact with the animals was our favorite part. My two year old had such a good time. Didn’t rate it a 5 star because of the prices were a bit on the high side for ice cream. I got the mint chip and it was ok. Flavored could of been stronger. Still recommend just to enjoy the atmosphere.

Good ice cream. I can see how it is a local favorite. The lunch menu isn’t too great. We shared a sandwich and Mac and cheese.

I have been coming here since 1998 and I absolutely adore this staple of my childhood. Growing up we always kicked off summer with a scoop of cookie dough in a cone, and a quick visit with the cows and chickens. In my twenties, it has become a mandatory«cheat day» treat every Saturday. We love to sit and watch the sunsets, and we visit the cows every single time. The home made flavors are above and beyond delicious, I rarely buy any other ice cream. My favorite is still the cookie dough, even after almost 20 years.

The summer sunsets are lovely if you come to Flayvors for some yummy ice cream or a lunch from their market inside. Compared to other ice cream places, they are not particularly inexpensive, and the scoops are not so massive that you feel sick or full afterwards(who wants that, anyway?) One scoop of the real-deal ice cream here is super rich and delicious anyway. If you want to indulge in a sweet treat and love supporting local organic business, you should stop by. Also, if you love animals you can meet the cows and other farm animals while you eat!

I love this place, I just wish they had a bigger building. It’s always so packed there’s nowhere to park or sit! They’re also a little over-priced in my opinion, BUT I guess that’s what it costs to have fresh, locally made.

Superlative. Nowhere else in the US have I had such consistently good ice cream. The setting can’t be beat, either.

A favorite ice cream spot! I love coming here with friends and family. They have so many flavors to choose from and reasonable prices. They also have a great selection of affordable farm stand dairy items, including eggs and meats. Plus the raw milk is fantastic! The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the sorbet. It tastes like the usual grocery store bargain sorbet. Aside from the food, the setting is perfect. It’s fun to sit at the benches and watch the cows and chickens. You can also go up and pet some of the cows. Nice to see a real working farm with a farm stand and ice cream shop.

The ice cream was delicious. I had the blueberry crisp on the special list and Chocolate almond. The mac and cheese was nothing special it didn’t have much flavor. Was too buttery and tasted more like a butter cream sauce instead of a cheese sauce. I would give this place another try.

It’s an old fashioned dairy with unique flavored ice cream(e.g. almond & asparagus) and a fun petting farm with cows, chickens, pigs, and a barn cat. They also sell great tasting non-pasteurized milk(but beware of Listeria). Holding an ice cream cone on a hot sunny day, this place is idyllic. Maybe it’s the cost of operations, but for the price, the scoops are significantly smaller when compared to other creameries in Amherst and New England. Still it’s definitely a place to try.

ok, amazing ice cream, Free wifi, Rao’s coffee, fresh air, food, really fresh meat and dairy products to take home. This is a killer place to study or hide from the coffee houses. I love it.

This place rocks. Everything from young staff to the ice cream to the chili to the petting farm in the back. I’ve been coming to Flayvors for several years. It’s just a great, old fashioned dairy farm with the best ice cream and food. Come here after a busy day or after picking your kids up from school or just on a lazy weekend afternoon. Get some delicious food then either sit in their cute, country style dining room or grab a picnic table outside. Then finish up and go back to pet the cows and calfs. The kids will just love it.

Delicious ice cream(I got the Sally’s Coffee Grounds which is actually coffee ice cream with oreos), fresh milk(both raw and pasteurized) and other fresh dairy, tons of calves and cows to pet, a beautiful view — doesn’t get much better than that!

Some of the most creative ice cream flavors around. Ice cream is real creamy and not too sweet or salty. I tried the pumpkin today and it was awesome. The wife tried the vanilla apple crumble which was excellent too. Prices are high and servings are small, but the quality of the ice cream is the best around. The staff is usually friendly, and they take debit cards too. Nice little stop in the summer. Great scenic location in the farmland of Hadley. I stopped in tonight for an ice cream, and while waiting in line I was looking at all the hand packed ice cream to go in their freezer. I was reading the ingredient lists for each ice cream they carry and was shocked and disappointed. I seen artificial flavors, preservatives, and trans fat listed. I always assumed their ice cream was all natural at the least, being made in small batches from their own cows. Now I’m not so sure the ice cream is even made there anymore. I previously rated them a five, but had to change it after reading about the junk in their ice cream. I might as well go to Friendly’s, at least it would be cheaper.

I love the setting… picnic tables overlooking meadows of grazing cows with rolling hills off in the distance… it’s scenes like this that make me glad I live where I do. And I love the local, home-spun feel of Flayvors… but sadly, I didn’t love the ice cream. The prices were low, but the scoops were very, very small(more like kiddie-cone size… just a small«hump» over the top of the cone rather than a round ball). This would have been a perfectly fine combination(small price for small serving) if the ice cream had been good, but it just wasn’t that great. The flavors were extremely mild… my Inez was just a hint of coconut, and Ryan’s watermelon was the same. We’ll probably give them another try at some point, but there are so many other good options in the area.
