The games are super fun but the ambiance is quite douche-y for a lack of a better term. I wish the people that worked here were a bit nicer. The food is okay, nothing to write home about. I’d love to take my teen here to play some awesome games but the two times I did I felt very unwanted and that’s pretty sucky.

Fun place during the day for kids. Lights turn low around 4, kinda like they want the families out. But other than that good time to bring your kids to for old fun. Nice for older folks to have a good drink and some great items on the menu. If the bartender could get off her phone while she works that would be great! !!!

This is a good environment. Only thing I would complain about is the falafel. I wouldn’t say that it wasn’t authentic(which it wasn’t) but some things were just odd such as no hummus? A falafel sandwich without hummus? Pickled onion? No pickled turnip or radish? And the pocket I felt was just the owners way of giving the chef a break for not being good at wrapping. I can teach you Egyptian technique on falafel making if you would like. I eat out at many restaurants and what also please me about this place is I didn’t find any hair in my food. Staff: Also the staff is lazy, after reading through the reviews after posting it did rekindle my memory. It is true, the tables are often a mess. Personally I clean up after myself and don’t need my mommy now as I am a big boy. However many slobs exist and find themselves leaving a mess. And If I am not mistaken the staffs duties is to clean up after them when they depart. I didn’t get any negative vibes from them however I also agree on several reviews that they were very unaware of the customers and instead focused more so on socializing with fellow employees. No offense but, you have a job to do. And just because you are surrounded by childish games does not mean you should become childish. Smell: I to got a whiff of bad oder. I didn’t want to comment on this but considering several other reviewers posted about this smell I am inclined to believing it were coming from a employee. At first I thought it was just a customer who forgot to put on deodorant. Overall Still I like this place. People go out to eat and forget its a business, its not your mommy’s soup kitchen. As long as their isn’t hair in my food, it tastes good, and the prices stay at a median compared to other places i’ll eat here. I can’t complain about the drink prices(alcohol) because I don’t drink alcohol.

A great casual spot for hot dogs, beer, and video games. It’s right on the Norwottuck bicycle path. A great choice for an office party or other informal gathering. The spirits menu is pretty limited; this is not a place to get a cocktail.

A fun place to go almost any night of the week. The food and drink selection is vast and mostly 80’s/nerd culture themed, and I’ve never eaten anything I didn’t like. The sweet potato french fries are my favorite in the valley. They usually have one or two people working the bar, which can get hectic if the bar fills up, but everyone working there is quick and attentive(worthy of a nice tip). Tons of games, just an ungodly amount of games– everything from Tetris to Mortal Kombat, even The Simpsons game. The machines work as well as machines work at an arcade, which is to say that sometimes you lose a quarter but not enough to make you cry. They even have little shelves next to the games so you can drink and play at the same time. They host tons of theme nights and events, like almost every day of the week. The best thing, though, is TRIVIANIGHT. The host is fun and crafts great questions, and you’re up against some pretty savvy teams. The bar is small, and seating is limited, so if you’re coming for a big event, arrive EARLY. The bar backs right up to the Rail Trail, and in the summer there’s an outdoor space you can sit and relax in.

This place is exactly what you would want in a retro game themed bar. The food is great and cheap. The staff is eccentric and fun to talk with. And I happened to come on a Tuesday which is $ 5 for unlimited game play! I am very jealous that I don’t live in this area and can’t make this my usual spot. If you enjoy games and good food this is a must!!! Oh and the drinks are on point! 5 stars!

Love this place! They put as much attention into the falafel as the burgers and have a tasty array of other food options, in addition to a great draft beer selection. Quarters is a great pit stop on the Rail Trail — or extra reason to go biking in the first place.

I don’t know why some people love this place. It’s really small and doesn’t have a lot of games. The food menu is small and overpriced, and the beer menu is just as small. I’ve been once and I’ll never go back.

Quarters is a really fun place to bring your children, or spend time out with friends, but the big surprise is that the food is actually really good. They have the best french fries in the area, no question about it. Whatever they are doing with their fried food, they are doing it right. Their fries are light and crispy and hot. The staff is really pleasant, and the place is just overall so much fun. What a great addition the Valley. They are centrally located and we always leave with a smile. The kids just worship this place, and it is a really good choice for office or birthday parties.

One of the best hangout places in the area. Great atmosphere and friendly staff + amazing food = all the wins. Also love the theme nights and unlimited quarter on Tuesdays!

Fun atmosphere. Mostly college aged, and some peeps in their late 20s-30s. Mostly a crowd that enjoys video games! Food was actually pretty good and I liked the drinks.

This place is solid. It has a great vibe, very friendly people, good drinks and beverages. The food is mostly«ok.» but, really, you’re not going there for the food. It’s really a small bar crammed with video games. Lots and lots of retro fun all around the room. the games are in decent repair.(This coming from a guy that worked in two arcades back in the 80’s.) Sure, not perfect, or brand new, but honestly, some of these games are 30 – 40 years old. Honestly what do you expect? They’ve taken a beating. They’ve gone to far off places, and seen monsters of every variety. There surely isn’t a LOT of machines, but I do like that they only have one Neo-Geo. I like that most of the machines are the real deal. My favorites are Rampage, and Gauntlet. They have most of the classics, tho. Ms Pacman. Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat(This one is .50). You get tokens from a change machine, or from the servers, keep them on condiment cups, for which there are table placed next to most of the games. I plan to make it out at night sometime soon. So far I’ve only gone with the kids around noon. The lads LOVE it there, and always have a great time.

This place if fun. All the games you remember from your youth all in one place. I got a Groupon and we came here one quiet Monday day off. You get unlimited tokens and fries with the deal. Considering you are a captive audience, it would have been so easy to phone in the food items. Not here — we got a nice cross section of the menu and it was all pretty good. The fries(regular and sweet potato) were tasty and I have had better falafel but my favorite were the mini hot dogs with all manner of topping(the bah mi was my favorite). I asked about the hot dog and it is locally made but he did not give me any more info than that. This place is worth it even without the Groupon. It does get busy so be warned — parking can fill up so call first — they also close for private parties and this Monday, they did not open until noon because it was a holiday.

For kids of the 80s(or somewhere around there), this place is as awesome nostalgic fun as anything you can think of, but probably even more fun. Vintage Tetris, Burgertime, Mortal Kombat, Ms PacMan and so many others take me back to playing in arcades when I was a kid, and I appreciate that the machines take actual quarters(or tokens), not swipey cards like you get at the modern arcades. The décor is all vintage toys like the Pee Wee Herman doll and an ALF puppet. SOCOOL. Oh, and they serve food and drinks! Beers are a little pricey so it can add up if you like to drink something thats not PBR, but I’m a big fan of the food which includes about a dozen variations of sliders and mini hot dogs(vegan options available!!!) ranging from about $ 2-$ 4 apiece. Basically, you can have a really great time here. I wish there weren’t kids here. I have a tendency to curse loudly sometimes when playing video games. But its fine. I would totally want to come here if I were a kid, and its cool that they can appreciate the older games. The crowd becomes more grown up oriented as the evening goes on. Check in on Unilocal, get yourself 8 free tokens, and enjoy!

I really like the idea and design of this place, I just wish it was bigger! Get some more machines, air hockey, pool tables, stuff like that. Considering it’s such a small building they’ve already packed in about as much as possible, so maybe they’ll do an expansion someday… I’ve been quite a few times and it really depends on who is working that day on the quality of the visit. Sometimes it’s a straight 5, and others it’s a 1. I don’t drink so I can’t say much for the bar portion, but the games they have are good, I always go on a Tuesday where they do their unlimited play for $ 5. The non-alcoholic drinks are good, though not all comes with refills and are a bit overpriced. Food wise I’ve only had their fries but they were good! Nice place for a date in my opinion.

I love the Quarters. Love it! Love everything about it. Love the video games lining the sides, classics like The Simpsons, Street Fighter and Rampage. I love that if you’re looking to hop onto an arcade game, there’s one waiting for you when you’re here. It’s not a giant selection but it’s enough to make you go, yeah, let’s do this. I love the drinks, classic cocktails and new-ones they’ve created with names like Barry Allen and Ocarina of Time. I love the food, which is actually more quality than you think a place like this might do. We did fried Brussels sprout yesterday and they were quality. I love the atmosphere. They do fun events like nerd trivia on Monday’s for cash prizes and all you can eat cereal and free games on Sunday. Who wouldn’t love all you can eat cereal! Really, I just love this spot and am happy it exists.

Negative: I feel like the drinks are a tad overpriced. Positives: the arcade games are great fun. The food options are creative, inexpensive, and tasty(I can especially recommend the Ramen). If you’ve never been on a Saturday… the Saturday morning breakfast cereal buffet is a must. 10 bucks get you all-you-can-eat cereal, and unlimited quarters for games

My boys had attended a Birthday party there, on a Sat. morning, and loved it. So I thought I would take them and see if it was as good as it looks on paper. I have gone twice now and had almost identical experiences. The(same) bartender was chatting with the only other 1 – 2 customers and pretty much ignored me. She was cute and the dudes at the bar looked like it would take a tornado to move them off their bar stool. The games need to be wiped down more often. The few food items I tried were fine. The beer was great, but being served in a mason jar made it difficult to drink without dribbling and there were only five or so selections. The games range from old classics to just old. Overall a decent time. I will go again.

I finally made it to The Quarters and had a lot of fun. The pros: Games are only a quarter each, and you can often get all-you-can-play deals on Groupon. The food is fun and tasty. And there are great old-school games to play. The cons: The place is tiny and sometimes feels really crowded. I also wish there were more adult-only hours, as it can be a pain to shuffle around the kids(there, I said it). I was also really bummed that the games I went to play were out of service when I went. The middle: The drinks were good, but kind of small. It’s also kind of difficult to tell when your food is ready because the place is loud and they just holler your name from the bar. Overall, this is a great option for something fun.

Spent the evening with friends at The Quarters last night, and have to say that I haven’t had this much fun at a bar since I was 21. This bar to me is the equivalent of an adult Chuck E. Cheese’s. The atmosphere was great, the arcade games were classic, and the staff was polite. One critique is the fact that the food and drinks were a bit over priced for the end result. Another is the fact that there were some patrons who camped out in front of a game and would play forever, this was annoying because as we all know, sharing is caring. Long story short, we had so much fun here that we can’t wait to go back.
