On two occassions, Columbia Gas was contacted for precautionary measures related to leaks and on two occassions, Columbia Gas has proved to be extrodinary.
Both incidents were handled with not just a sense of upmost professionalism and courtesy but with honest empathy for the safety of my family and my home. My hesitation of feeling foolish for erring on the side of caution was met with reassurance as the representatives dispatched a service technician immidiately.
Both times technicians arrived at my house in under a half hour and both times the technicians were thorough, polite, understanding and informative.
Some may take it for granted that utlility companies should operate this way but I have had no where close to this or any other similar type experience with any other utlilty company.
