I announced that I was a first time shopper at Potomac Seafood that being said. I bought four peaces of flounder, drove straight home. I could smell the stench when I picked the bag up from the car seat. I rinsed the fish off with water and what I made was 4 peaces of decomposing ammonia fish. My house stunk for two days after that.

This place rarely has business that I see I only come here when I’m to lazy to shop for my seafood fix elsewhere. Today I came in for salmon but they were out until Thursday so I opted for tuna. I was told fresh seafood isn’t supposed to have a smell talk about fishy and I had just bought it to come straight home to cook it so it didn’t even see the fridge.

Great little seafood market with FRESH seafood! It’s a small store front at the beginning of town. I have been there twice now and the same woman was there running it. She gets fresh seafood in from all over. The scallops were melt in your mouth and the jumbo lump crab so fresh. My sister is a chef and she went with me the first time. She was in heaven once we cooked everything up. I went back for Salmon the following week with my husband and we just loved it. Again, so fresh, so flavorful! I have been telling everyone about my great find in Hagerstown.
