Ramada Plaza Hagerstown

Great value for money.
Gym is Cardio only and a multi press. All quite old.
Breakfast is included and for a continental breakfast more than ok.
Wifi included and good reception throughout the hotel.
Cool bar and restaurant with nice interior.
So all in all a good choice if you’re passing by…

Stayed here one night as we passed through. It was fine. Nothing special. The breakfast was better than I thought it’d be, with many more options than I had anticipated. If I was passing through again and needed a place to stay, I would be fine staying here.

Room was hot and stuffy, smelly like mold. Staff and breakfast was good. Bathroom and room appeared clean but the smell got to me. Maybe they need new a/​c?

I can’t believe this hotel has 4 stars. We reserved a room as part of a wedding block. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm. The carpet was dirty. You know, the kind you don’t want to walk on barefoot! The toilet was dirty in the seat hinges and under the rim and the AC unit was weak. Far from 4 stars in my book.

We stayed at this location of the Ramada this past weekend, the free breakfast and pool lured us here. Had a quiet room on the third floor, which was clean and neat, albeit a little dated, but not really an issue.
My significant other and I went for breakfast the next morning at 6:30, there is a big selection of eggs (mediocre at best), sausage (which the teen said was great), bagels, yogurt, pastries, fruit, oatmeal, and the star of the show– WAFFLES! Unfortunately, when I went back with the teenager at 8:30am (he wanted to sleep in), all the waffle batter was gone. There were plenty drink options, but the coffee was horrendous (I walked to McDonald’s to get coffee) and the hot water for the tea was room temperature.
The pool was a nice size, seemed busy during peak times, but we went down the morning we were checking out, and no one was there.
The only thing that kind of turned me sour on this location is when I went to check out, the employee at the front desk was extremely rude to someone who sounded like a customer on the phone. When he hung up and the phone rang, he was agitated by it, I wasn’t sure why, as I wasn’t rushing him or being anxious about waiting. I am not sure the nature of the call, but it’s not inviting to others when you’re rude to those inquiring about staying at your hotel.

My family and I stayed in this hotel during our trip to Antietam National Battlefield and Harper’s Ferry, WV. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and welcoming. It comes with free breakfast, room service, a discount to the restaurant upstairs, etc. The hotel is also with walking distance to many eateries, gas stations, and a mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in the area.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, especially nice to have a laundry facility to wash out cloths. Location is great for plenty of options on eateries just don’t go to the red robin (gross).

Nice hotel. Large room with a large bathroom. Good shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Right off the highway. Lots if restaurants and stores nearby.

I love this hotel! The staff alone was worth the stay. A few nights ago I checked into a best wester and while the hotel was very nice the guy checking me in was obviously high on drugs and would not shut up. Anyways, the staff gets 5 stars, the rooms are huge and really nice. They aren’t as modern as a lot of hotels but don’t get me wrong the rooms are more than nice. Free laundry, the laundry room is also very nice with a big tv and a bathroom. I didn’t try the restaurant but they do have room service witch is great. I was also really impressed with the heating and air unit they had in the room. It wasn’t the normal kind of unit in hotels but it worked like a champ! The pice was very competitive.

Found this place on Hotwire, and was very pleased. The room was larger than I expected with nice toiletries in the bathroom and a minifridge. They have room service, offer a free breakfast, and give 15% off for dinner at the attached restaurant.
