Side Pockets

Patrons feel they can talk really loudly on the street at all hours without regard to homeowners living nearby and think nothing of throwing trash in yards and revving their motorcycles late at night too. Bar owners do nothing about it, even though cops have been called on numerous occasions.
No idea if they have good food or what the atmosphere is like, as the people that are regulars there are a serious deterrent.

This bar is okay. My daughter and I usually go here to shoot pool. The place is dirt cheap, by far. However, do not go here when a pool tournament is going on. They can be eh, quite rude.
The food is lousy. For sure! However, the people on an regular night can be quite nice. ;)

Really great prices on the beer and alcohol. 75 cents for a game of pool is
an added bonus. The tables are good but not great, but for 75 cents what do you want. Everyone behind the bar is the nicest in the world. A laundry mat across the street, so while you are getting drunk, you can do wash your clothes.
They have karaōke on random Saturday nights and it attracts what I think is the best cast of karaōke singers in Maryland. No really, One dude sounded
just like Bob Seeger singing ‘Turn the page’.
They have comedy on and off also.
On Sunday they have about 3 or 4 differnt games on along with some great specials. Not much in the food department, better eat before you get to Side Pockets. The bathrooms have a weird set up with two stand up urinals and one sit down one; all positioned in a space about the size of a phone booth, there has been at least two occasions where I got a accidental golden shower by someone peeing next to me.
