We stopped in today to get some Honeybells and the place was VERY busy. We stop in every few weeks for our citrus and there are many varieties to choose from such as tangerines, temples, grapefruits and too many other varieties of oranges for me to remember.
It was fun to see the machine that washed and sorted the fruit. It’s right in front of you and they are happy to give you a tour of the place and it’s workings. The prices are ok, but as for freshness, you are getting it right from the grove so it doesn’t get any better than that!
Ridge Island has also added fresh chicken to their offerings. These are organic chickens, raised there and processed there.
They carry the usual jams, jellies, juice, coconut patties, veggies in season and little souvenirs most groves do. All in all, a nice place.

We love Ridge Island Groves. They have the best fruit in Florida. Great staff and packaging.
