George’s Lock & Security Service

George’s Lock is a no frills locksmith. It’s just George and his handy van. When I moved into my new place, I didn’t realize the realtor never gave me the key to the storage closet. I needed to get access to my fuse box for a service technician, so I needed a locksmith ASAP.
I gave George a call, and initially I heard a sigh on the other end of the phone. It sounded like George was unsure what he was getting himself into because I was explaining the whole story, which I guess is pretty unnecessary and actually makes it sound like a more troublesome job than it was for him. Once I told him all I need is a simple closet door re-​keyed, he gave me the price upfront. $ 60 for the house call, and $ 10 to re-​key it. Done. I don’t know how much house calls typically cost, so that’s your price to compare.
He immediately met me. I’m not sure if he works after hours. George gave me a time he would arrive and he was early. Got the door open and re-​keyed in less than 15 minutes. George reminds me of my grandpop. He’s elderly, he’s genuine, and he’s professional.
