Had a deep cut on my leg and Dr. Dilcher was the only doctor in the area and there were not any clinics or emergency facilities nearby. Because this was an emergency Dr. Dilcher was able to see me and take care of my wound. I found Dr. Dilcher and his staff to be very friendly, professional and quite competent. Thanks to the Doctor and staff for taking the time to tend to my wound.

Wow… I called to ask some questions and see if I could have my toddler seen. The«receptionist» totally talked over me and blew me off. I was told«dr dilcher cant see you, no way.» to «go back to haleiwa clinic» after she discovered I didnt have major health coverage. I was prepared to pay out of pocket. When I asked for a referral or suggestions she laughed and said«we dont give referrals without seeing the patient.» I was referred to these guys by a dear friend in the community but boy, I did not get the aloha I was told id get from these folks. Sad.

My Family Doc and I know him for over 23 years. Somebody you can count on and who knows what he is doing. I love having them here on the North Shore. If you ever need to find a good Doc, here he is. And if you need blood drawn, the doc will do it himself. I think if more people would like their Doctor, they would not ignore health problems and get treated early…

My insurance switched from Kaiser to HMSA and I called to make an appointment with Doctor Dilcher. They were accepting new patients, but apparently not me. The receptionist started asking personal questions about my health(why I needed referrals — what for) after asking my name. She asked my name again and then said they were busy and couldn’t make an appointment but to call back next week. I asked if I should try another Doctor and she said«yeah.» This is not the level of professionalism I would expect from a doctor, nor the sense I community I expect on the North Shore.
