North Shore Macademia is the only farm of its kind left on Oahu. It has fantastic products. I’ve had Macademia nuts all over Hawaii and these are the freshest best tasting ones. North Shore deserves your business. If your in Haleiwa — and who doesn’t go there when visiting the island — I urge you to stop and buy a bag or two. You are absolutely in for a special treat.

Super friendly staff. A demo on the Mac nut and how to crush one with your bare hands. Or with the nice machine they have on display. Many delish samples and the nice woman(I forgot to ask her name) gave me a guava fresh picked from her tree! How nice!!! I would highly recommend. Their kona mix blend is 30% kona. Amazing! While most places she said only gives you 10 — 15% kona. Come in and try the free samples. You won’t be leaving empty handed!

Local Macadamia nuts straight from the shell! So many options! Although the older lady tending the stand was a little brash(we had a 7 year old with us who wanted to try some of the nuts). She continuously watched us and continued to tell us to close each container, we get it, we heard you the first time. My Dad who loves coffee wanted to try a sample in his portable coffee cup, she preceded to tell him«samples only, please». Not sure if that was her standard of welcoming people but we certainly were not trying to overstay our sampling welcome. After sampling and purchasing some bags she warmed up and allowed us to break open some nuts and gave us a background on the farm and history of the owners. The nuts were delicious and so fresh! I will be ordering online but was so embarrassed for my dad and nephew. We tried to make this stop an experience for our family but it was missing that Aloha Spirit you get in Hawaii.

We visited North Shore Macadamia Nut in-person and have also ordered nuts, honey and coffee from their website as gifts for friends and family. These macadamia nuts are fantastic! We like the honey roasted best but enjoy them all. Also, Randy Paty is a great guy and will give you a fun product demonstration if you are their in person and he will still treat you with Aloha spirit if you order on-line. Stop by and visit when on the North Shore, if not lucky to be on Oahu, buy these mac nuts and other products from the website. You will be glad you did!

The macadamia nuts here taste delicious compared to the variety available at the markets. It’s a bit pricer, but worth the extra for the freshness. It’s hard to describe, so you just have to taste it! They have samples and free coffee so it’s a nice little stop. My 2yo loves the honey roast macadamias. I just wished I bought more for him to bring home.

Genuinely local macadamia nuts and coffee. Best tasting macadamia nut coffee I’ve ever had! This gem is hidden away across the street from the Haleiwa Beach Park… be sure to look for the yellow sign that says«Macadamia Nuts and Coffee.» Randy and Mary Paty have run the Kamananui Orchard since 1972, and it’s now the only macadamia nut farm on Oahu. Randy was at the store the day I stopped by, and he went well out of his way to make me, my wife and our three kids under 6 feel special. The setup is simple: macadamia nut products and coffee. You can try free samples of macadamia nuts in dry roasted, salted and honey roasted. All of them are delicious, although my favorite is the dry roasted. The nuts are 8 dollars per 8 ounce bag, which isn’t pricey considering it’s the North Shore. Randy also sells macadamia nut honey, which is delicious. The coffee is awesome. Randy gives away free coffee and sells both 100% Kona and Kona-blend with macadamia nut flavoring. Unlike a lot of mass-market coffee, his macadamia nut blend doesn’t taste artificial. It’s got the perfect taste of roasted macadamia nuts with a dark Kona blend. Randy also took the time to talk about his farm. He has a ton of freshly picked macadamia nuts on site, and he readily cracks them for customers to give samples out. He is trying to expand his business, but he’s an older gentleman and had only«heard a bit about Unilocal.» The North Shore is full of stores peddling cheap Chinese crap. Plenty of these store employees roll their eyes at you when you show up with three kids. Not North Shore Macadamia Nut. Despite my kids running all around and in general being squirrely, Randy simply smiled and gave them each a freshly cracked macadamia nut. Do yourself a favor and stop by here, if nothing else then to try a free coffee. You couldn’t put your money in a nicer local business and get something tasty in return.

I love macadamia nuts so you can imagine my excitement when I ran by this stand this morning! They have salted, plain, and honey roasted nuts(with samples!), coffee(yes with samples!) and even macadamia nut cooking oils! The owner is a nice guy who will even take you to a table on the side where he will show you how to crack your own nuts(lol). Coffee beans and Mac nuts are local and you will have a better experience here than at the grocery store looking for typical big name Mac but brands!
