THEBESTSPAEXPERIENCEONOAHU, hands down! My bf brought me here as a surprise to celebrate 7 years together. All I knew is that I had to dress comfortably and that we were headed north shore. So, I thought for sure we were going on a beach adventure. As we pulled up in front of the driveway gates, I instantly knew, «OMG. This is that over-the-top north shore spa!!!» A lady came to greet us and informed us that we had the whole place to ourselves for the day! This goes for anyone who visits. It’s private-just you, whoever you come with, and the staff. We were taken on a brief tour of the estate. There are beautiful water fountains and flora throughout the estate. First thing you will notice is that there are many small houses on property. Turns out that the Sullivans who were the previous owners of the estate collected cars and built a mini house to showcase each car in. So those car houses were turned into treatment rooms. They have been cleverly converted into workout, massage, oil drip treatment, and yoga rooms. The estate is powered solely on photovoltaic(solar) power. We were led to changing rooms where there’s a bathroom and shower. After we changed into the robes they provided, fresh watermelon juice and lemon-basil water were served to us as we filled out an information sheet about what kind of food we prefer and if you have any known allergies. We were then given a «menu» of what treatments we’d be experiencing throughout the day. First up was the SAUNA, hot shower, and COLDPLUNGE There are 2 saunas on site. We went in the dry sauna. The temperature rises dramatically when we poured water over the lava rocks on the side. Remember to start off at a reasonably hot temperature and increase it as your body acclimates. After you start dripping sweat, rinse off with a hot shower and hit the cold plunge! You take a dip in a small but deep pool of ice-cold water. Don’t be hesitant and torture yourself by doing it slowly-just go for it!!! It’s scary at first, but so refreshing. Repeat whole process 2 more times or until the lady comes to get you for your next treatment. Next up was the JK7SENSATOR. Okay, all the other reviewers raved about this, but my bf and I thought it was o-kay. You take a quick rinse in the shower, sanitize your feet in a shallow pool, and then float with a neck pillow and experience weightlessness in a lukewarm shallow pool of Mediterranean sea salt-water. You cover your eyes with a hand towel as you lay there experiencing the music, colored lights, and matching essential oils that are sprayed all over. This was an awesome experience for the first 20 minutes or so, but my body started pruning from being in the water for so long(this treatment lasts 45 minutes) and then the essential oils started to burn my face(not because they’re hot, but I’m not sure why). So towards the end of the 45 minutes I just got out of the pool and laid down on the side of the pool so I could clear my mind once again. This should be the highlight of the Sullivan Estate experience since this is what Dr. Jurgen Klein has researched and developed and they even give you a complimentary book about the JK7 Sensator upon leaving, but honestly, what’s to follow was the highlight of my stay here. QUICKTIP: Dr. Jurgen Klein is the original founder of Jurlique, a line or organic skin care. He sold the company years back. The Sullivan Estate is his dream vacation home where he creates JK7, his current organic skin care line. We were even taken to the lab where the skin care products are made. The 90-minute MASSAGE was THEBEST massage I’ve ever had. I always have tension in my shoulders, neck, scalp and I have a stiff lower back from sitting at an office job all day long, and let me tell you, I was feeling like a noodle when it was over. I thought this day couldn’t get any better, but it did! We were then led to an outdoor pavilion overlooking Pupukea. We were served glasses of champagne while waiting for our personal chef to cook up a delectable meal. The food was gourmet, flavorful, healthy, and Mediterranean-inspired. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. I enjoyed the hummus and cheese scones. This experience was surreal… eating the best food I’ve had in a while, sipping champagne, enjoying the spectacular view, and sharing this with the love of my life. As all these happy thoughts are running through my mind, we presented with JK7 gifts!!! We were given 2 books about Dr. Jurgen Klein’s life journey and about the JK7 Sensator and 2 full-size JK7 skin care products(Lime Beauty Moisturizing Mist and Lavender and Rose Hand Cream). I use the Lime Mist daily when I need to refresh the skin and the hand cream at night. We were then led back to where we started and I enjoyed a shower where I tried more JK7 skin and hair care products. You can also book reservations at the house at the estate and use their facilities and schedule treatments. I DREAM of returning here. Truly a slice of heaven.

I’ve died and gone to spa heaven. As a self-professed spa junkie, it doesn’t get better than this. The ultimate of spa experiences awaits you at the Sullivan Estate. First when you arrive at this 5-acre estate perched on the hill top of Pupukea, you are greeted at the gate by your personal spa concierge who is with you(except during treatments) during your entire stay. When you book an appointment you are the ONLY guest on property unless you are going with the group. That’s right; you read it, 5 acres of lush beauty all to yourself. I know now you must be wondering, who is this Shelley E. Is she a celebrity, millionaires, an Apple stock holder??? Nope, I’m just a normal(I use that term loosely) hard working mommy that got her BF to take advantage of a living social Deal for ½ the JK7 treatment. Had they not offered it I probably would have never had the chance to experience this special place. I don’t know where to begin? First all the products are made on site in a laboratory that you get to tour upon your arrival. Yes an onsite laboratory that Dr. Juergan Klein, owner of the estate, uses to make his own skin care concoctions! ONSITE! Everything smells beautiful, delicious, soothing, and natural. Your senses are on fire and as you cruise the facilities you mind just drifts off into relaxation mode. Keep in mind I haven’t even changed my clothes nor had my first treatment yet! It’s just that fantastic. You can read about the history of the Estate on their website so I won’t go into it, but the JK7 Sensory spa is a one-of-a-kind experience. The fastest 45 minutes of my life passed by while I buoyantly floated across a pool salted from the Dead Sea. During this time I experience an array of smell, touches, sounds, feeling, and emotions as the journey takes you into the deepest levels of relaxation. This experience cannot be recreated anywhere. The combination of the location, the property, and the creator of the spa is priceless. After the treatment we were escorted to the Veranda where you stand at the edge of the world and take in the panoramic view of Kaena Point all the way to Hauula. You are then served an organic vegetarian snack which was almost more like lunch. Most of the dishes were prepared with items grown on the property and brings a whole new meaning to farm to table. It was exquisite. If you can afford it go and thank me later. If not, my concierge said they may do another deal soon, so keep an eye out! .

I love Spas — I am addicted to them! My experience at this spa was, to this day, the BEST spa experience I have ever had in my life. I bought a full day Spa Package for two to celebrate my wedding and also my birthday. My husband and I enjoyed this package together — he’s not the hugest fan of spas or massages because he never feels they are worth the money but he absolutely thought this was money well spent and his most enjoyable spa experience of yet. We both loved it and would return without any hesitation. EVERYTHINGISBREATHTAKING, from the views, location, grounds, service, massage, treatment rooms, food — a wonderful time! Here’s a breakdown of my experience but you need to come here and experience this yourself — trust me, you won’t regret it! — Alia, the spa coordinator, was on top of everything, calling twice to confirm the spa appointment and making sure I had the directions she emailed me with the spa schedule too. — Arrived through the gated property with Alia standing to greet us. Parked the car and was taken to a seating area atop the hill with sweeping views of the North Shore coastline, welcomed with fresh watermelon juice and cool water while we filled out a health questionnaire. We had the entire Estate to ourselves, how wild is that? Talk about peaceful and private — just birds chirping, butterflies fluttering, and the sound of water fountains. — Changed into our bathing suits, robes and slippers in the fully stocked private bathrooms. Had a personal tour of the estate and history of the location and founder, Dr. Jurgen Klein(creator of Jurlique skin care line). The grounds are beautiful and philosophy of the spa being all natural is really felt throughout. — First treatment session: My husband kept calling this the«triple threat», it was a room that consisted of an Aroma Steam Sauna, warm shower rinse and then Cold Plunge, repeated 3 times. Great way to open up the day with something that combined relaxation and bodily shock to get circulation going and detoxifying by sweating. — Second treatment session: JK7 Spa Sensator. AMAZING — it is such a sensory experience! Shallow pool with 45% salt from the Dead Sea to encourage natural bouyancy and hence a floating/anti-gravity sensation. Headrests that lift your head as you float around and the room is filled with aromatic steam and scented oils that are illuminated while new age and meditation music is played. I’m sorry, are you tripping out yet because I challenge you to not be impressed, relaxed or de-stressed by the end of this treatment. — Tea Break and water breaks to replenish your fluids and maintain hydration, bathroom breaks accordingly ;) — Third treatment session: JK7 Signature Massage. We opted to do this in separate rooms, but had the option to get one room for both of us as well. I had a lymphatic drainage massage coupled with deep tissue(challenging to combine actually but done to perfection). I could tell the masseuse was highly knowledgeable when it came to all different forms of massage, overall health and well-being and she even gave me tips about my diet and living habits to round out my health. — Pupus, organic and all natural from their gardens, this was spectacular. We were celebrating so were offered Spanish sparkling wine with orange zest, teas and waters — tapioca pudding, cheesy breads, whole wheat cake, olive tapenade, basil dip with veggie sticks, goat cheese stuffed date(my favorite), we were in HEAVEN! All consumed in their terrace that faces the coastline. — Parting gifts of JK7 products, autographed books on the JK7 Sensator and well-being and the spa menu and schedule to commemorate our experience. PERFECTSPAEXPERIENCE — shell out the money and come here to enjoy your perfect Hawaiian spa experience. Next step, I’m looking into renting this house to stay in!

The only reason I could afford this place was because it was a gift. From a celebrity. They have a patented one-of-a-kind sensory overload treatment(JK7) that is BANANAS, you’re like suspended in a salt water pool listening to brain soothing music for what seems like ever while everything that could ever stress you out is forgotten(or wiped from your subconscious?) I had the best massage I’ve ever had in my life here too. She told me that my neck was out of alignment but still managed to make me feel like a million bucks. The best part is the alone time on the lanai with their selection of organic pupus and champagne and that blanket. NOTHING in the world compares to this place. And if you don’t believe me, you can believe the celebrity that got me my package — she’s been to a zillion spas all over the world so she should know.

Never apologise for taking care of yourself and enjoying life as you’ve created it. Yeah, whatever. Shut up… This is absolutely about treating oneself, recharging, and taking in the beauty of nature and Hawai’i whilst doing so. Exceptional grounds, unsurpassed service and spa treatments, gourmet organic meals, and privacy which allows visitors and their guests to completely unwind and reconnect. Six bedrooms, two chefs, a home theatre, solar heated pool and Jacuzzi, and a gym, this gated haven is an hour north of Honolulu but light years away. Grab a trusted group of friends and enjoy. Whatever you do, just remember these two words: SPASENSATOR. Yeah, whatever. Shut up…
