I have one tattoo on my body and that was hard enough for me to do. My one true phobia is sharp objects, needles, knifes, you name it. I am a single dad, born and raised in Wisconsin, now living in Las Vegas. My daughter means a lot to me and so does Wisconsin. I thought maybe there was a way I could tie them together. I looked at a lot of places, most you worry about sanitation just walking in the door. Most you wonder if the tattoo artist is really good enough or if the drugs they are on start waring off mid tattoo, what will you do. This felt different. The owner, the main guy there, Tattoo Pete(original right?) looks like the average tattoo shop worker. Tattoos covered head to toe. But you walk in and are immediately comforted by the appearance of everything. I didn’t feel like I was in a tattoo shop but more like my bedroom at home or a comfortable common area. Pete knew exactly what he was doing, and I saw him working with other people while I was there and he exercised what sounded like great discretion in a handfull of scenario’s. He was OCD about his sanitation. He was beyond impressive up front. Once I got in the chair to do the tattoo, I started to faint within the first like 20 seconds of the tattoo. I felt like Pete was a EMT or a doctor or something, he knew exactly what to do to calm me down and even get me back to getting the tattoo. None the less, as terrible of a scenario it was imagined to be by me, this was quite excellent and deserving of as many stars as I could give it. And now thanks to Pete, I have a daily reminder of 2 things I love so dear, and he was able to give that to me.
