My daughter loves Fly on the Wall’s summer art camps. This is the school’s second year on Main Street; they have moved a few times in the past 7 years. Most camps run four days a week, and each week has a specific theme. Some of this year’s themes included Cartooning and Toy making, Sculpture and Architecture, Fashion Design and Textiles, and Drawing and Painting. There are also private lessons and classes at other times of the year, though we haven’t done any of those yet. The owner/instructor, Susan, is a sweet and energetic teacher. She’s great at bringing out the best in her students. The student ages seem to cover all grades up through high school. I’m sure adults can join, too, but in the summertime they will definitely be outnumbered.
