This review was based on our experience on 11÷25÷12 at 10:00am. We purchase the $ 25 for $ 50 deal from on Saturday, and had to wait the 24 hours before we could use our certificate, we couldn’t find the hours anywhere, and the phone number goes straight to voice mail, but knowing there was a farmers market next door that morning, we took a gamble and headed out on the early side. We were very disappointed to arrive and see that it wasn’t a Tree Farm(we thought it was because of the name), but actually a pick-your-own already cut tree lot. When we got there it was one of the D’OH moments… like why did we seriously think there was a Christmas Tree Farm that close to the ocean in HM Bay… but anyways… However, we did find a very nice tree within a few minutes of walking through the rows – so we were willing to overlook the misleading name. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment and anger after we left with our tree on the car. The two guys working the tree farm tied our tree to the car for us, since I figured they knew what they were doing, I didn’t think to check their work before we drove off. BIGMISTAKE. We made it about two miles away and the tree slid OFF of our car sideways. We pulled over to the side of the road in a frenzy hoping to avoid it flying off and causing an accident. We got out and noticed they had tied the tree around our LICENSEPLATEFRAME and didn’t actually wrap the tree with twine before tying it down. Essentially they threw some twine on the tree and wrapped it around our license plate a few times – but made it look very sturdily tied down. We had to untie the entire tree, and then properly tied it down in the front, sides, and back. If we ever did decide to go back we would not allow the staff to tie down our tree, they proved to be totally incompetent at tree tying, which is horrible considering they only have to a. accept payment, b. tie down the damn tree. Please beware and I hope someone shows those guys that the tree needs to be tied down to the front, and rear of your car — and NOT your car door handles and license plate frame. YIKES.
