If you are trying to decide whether or not you really need a wedding coordinator the answer is yes. How hard can it be to plan a wedding and my venue has a wedding coordinator so we don’t think we need one is what we thought. Things we didn’t think about kept popping up and the date was getting closer and closer and Kristy saved the day. Kristy was there every step of the way by providing an organized list of what we needed to do, helping us make decisions, suggesting vendors and so much more. Planning a wedding can be stressful and having Kristy there to help guide us was the best decision we could have made. Our wedding was in September and was a success thanks to Kristy. She went above and beyond our expectations. We found Kristy on Unilocal and we have to admit we were hesitant at first since there was only one review however after meeting her in person we knew she was the right person to help us. She was always available when we needed her during the wedding planning, the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. There was never a task to small or too big for her to assist with and can’t thank her enough. Thank you Kristy!

My husband and I chose Kristy Meinhardt as the coordinator for our wedding in April and could not be happier with our decision. She was awesome! At first we weren’t sure if we really needed to hire a coordinator, but we interviewed a few when we started wedding planning just to see what they were all about. Given that most of our wedding guests(including my entire bridal party) were from out of town, we decided to hire a coordinator so that we’d have someone local we could rely on. We chose Kristy because of her warm and down-to-earth personality, experience and reasonable prices. We chose her mid-level plan, which was basically day of coordination with a few extras. Let me just say, Kristy went above and beyond our expectations. Leading up to the wedding she was always available via phone and email to answer all of our questions, no matter how silly we thought they were. She offered lots of suggestions for things when we needed them, but also gave us space to make our own decisions and was very flexible. She even attended one of my dress fittings when none of my friends or family could make it. As our wedding day neared, having Kristy on our side alleviated so much stress. Although my husband and I hired our own vendors, Kristy checked in with all of them a week or two before the wedding to make sure everything was on track. Since I tend to stress easily, this really calmed all of my «what if I forgot something?» fears so that I could try to relax and enjoy the days leading up to the wedding. On our actual wedding day, Kristy was a gem. Everything ran so smoothly and she was always there when we needed her — and worked behind the scenes when we did not. She kept me calm when I ripped my dress TWICE before the ceremony(oops) and had the most comprehensive«emergency kit» I’ve ever seen. She saw to it that a mistake with our cake was fixed right away and probably did a lot more that I’m not even aware of — that’s the point after all. After the wedding our family, bridal party, guests and vendors all had great things to say about Kristy. She helped make the day run as smoothly as possible, which let us enjoy our day worry-free.
