I’ve been taking our kids here for years. As we live here on the coast we have a lot of options. This is the most down-home and local experience you going to get here in HMB. It’s especially good for kids 12 and under. J

Even before I had a kid I came here. This is a family owned and run operation. In fact the family lives in the green house next to the lot. Everyone here is super chill and very nice. Take one of the full-size wagons or a mini-wagon and cruise through the pumpkins. They serve goodies too which is always a bonus for me. There are cool decorations and animated figures to delight or scare the kiddos. There is also a cool hay tunnel which is SPOOKY! Some old farm equipment and a working hand water pump are a bonus for the kids. The pumpkin selection is AWESOME! Every imaginable pumpkin including the Cinderella pumpkin(my favorite) and the ghostly white ones. Plus I think they hold some of the GIANT pumpkins before the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Fest. Kids can be plopped on top for pictures. I’ve been a loyal costumer here for about 9 years so I think the prices reflect that… a nice little«frequent-buyer» discount! But the prices are VERY reasonable. You cannot go wrong at the Pumpkin Depot!

The outdoor decorations are the same this year as they were last year: the pirates scene, the haunted forest and the graveyard scene. Each scene has some animation. The moving haunted tree is still my favorite. I will probably visit him every year. This year they barely have any giant pumpkins and instead they were giving away a car(cheesy), so I’m deducting a star. It’s still free to view the scenes and enter in the dark haunted trailer. They still have pumpkins of various sizes and a snack bar.
