Stopped in on a Friday after a trip to the beach. It’s a small thrift store but very clean and well taken care of. No musky smell! Happened to be there were having their monthly Friday sale, sorry but can’t remember what week they have it on. I want to say it’s the third or last Friday of the month. My daughter got a free book, free books for kids! and I found a NWT Marc by Marc Jacobs blazer at a fraction of the cost! Score! The lady at the register was really nice. She even told me about other thrift stores in the area. Can’t wait to go back on the Friday when they have their sale!

I have been here three times and I have to say these people have a very bad attitude. The older woman who works here is really c##ty. I am a white, middle class, middle aged professional and she acted like I was going to steal something. How does she treat less empowered people?! Also they keep their books locked up. Bookstores leave that stuff right out in the open, crazy huh?!

This place is a joke. If you are young they will watch you! I tried to buy some baby clothes it said on the paper in the room that the shirts were a dollar but when I went to pay they tried to say that they were three! I wound up not buying anything. They need to be more polite to costumers.

Good deals may be found for women’s clothing, but it may take multiple visits. Some of the merchandise looked worn and not particularly well priced.

I LOVE this thrift store. They have many hidden treasures and their prices are incredibly good. The people who work here are always pleasant. I rarely leave without making a purchase! Wish they stayed open a little longer. I love to support a great cause and enjoy shopping here!

I have a soft spot for Senior Citizens. Good thing, because eventually I’m going to be one. All the proceeds from this thrift store, support the HMB seniors. Helps take them shopping, meals on wheels, you name it! Please bring your donations here and help support for a great cause. I’m going to start donating here and I live in the Peninsula. Goodwill just seems to not be that excited about my donations. Inside, you have to kind of search for your hidden treasures. I found this super cool hat/scarf item. Can’t wait to use it this winter. My boyfriend picked up a Pumpkin Fest beer mug. They accept credit on purchases over $ 10.

As far as thrift stores go, I’m not really a big fan of this one. It’s really small and cramped inside. There really isn’t a whole lot of «good» stuff to peruse. You have your usual assortment of used clothes, shoes, kitchenware, glass trinkets, etc… but the majority of it is just kind of REALLY used. Then again, you gotta be realistic — it’s a thrift store, so you shouldn’t show up expecting all Dior and Cartier and Waterford anyway. And, being a thrift store, there’s always the chance that something good will make its way onto the shelves eventually, as inventory will change periodically. The proceeds go to a good cause as well, so it’s worth a look and a little effort for the sake of supporting a good community organization.
