York County is blessed with tons of amazing, small, family-owned restaurants/diners. I’m always excited to try one that’s new to me. Hellamshire Restaurant did not disappoint. Located off of Rt 462(Market St) and close to Rt 30, this place has plenty of parking to accommodate hungry diners. I came for breakfast, but according to the sign out front, as of September 14, 2015, they now serve dinner. There was 11 in my group and we had reservations. We arrived a few minutes early and everyone was ready for us. The two waitresses that served us were friendly(calling all of us «hun» or «sweetie») and efficient. They handled our large group’s orders with ease. Food came out quickly and looked great. I was too hungry to remember to take a pic of my food, but I had the two-two-two special with French toast(HUGE slices of Texas toast), bacon(cooked crispy, just like I like it), and fried eggs(the only thing I didn’t really care for because they were very hard but in their defense I did ask for the yolk to be hard. I would try over medium next time).

Great little country diner. Greek influence is apparent but country as well. Can’t in for a late breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. Very clean facilities, fresh décor and extremely friendly staff. Couldn’t be more pleased.

Prices little high, food not bad. Didn’t care for their quality of bacon. Facility is very nice. Need to open later.

Nice facility. Newly and professionally remodeled. Friendly staff. Open for breakfast and lunch. Experienced cooking staff. A very pleasant experience. Only drawback has the standard breakfast prices slightly higher than the local competitors. They also charge an extra 25 cents for Rye toast and it’s not even the good seeded variety.
