Falafel Benny

All I can say is this place is amazing. I was one of the first people in line this morning and I must say the service and food is well worth 7 stars. I had the sharwarma (i hoped i spelled that right) It was amazing. Fresh right off the lamb. The place is very clean and the staff were really nice. this was by far the best Israeli place i have been too!

… I enjoy Mediterranean/​Greek food and this establishment has authentic and tasty falafel Pitts which are my favorite. HOWEVER the restaurants time of operation are not accurate seeing as how it’s Sunday and I drove across town (20 minutes) just knowing I was going to have a falafel pita only to find a print out in the window saying closed. ALSO, the prices aren’t updated and all the owner could say the last time I visited was I don’t know how to work the Internet or something to that effect.
If I happen to be in the area I’ll probably grab a bite BUT you guys need to get your SH*T together.

What a pleasant surprise! This is the second Mediterranean/​Israeli restaurant I’ve discovered in the past month in South Broward… and what a great find it is. If you have never been to Israel and want a taste of Israeli style food, Falafel Benny is the place to go
. When you first walk in you will probably meet Benny — he’s everywhere. I’ve eaten many falafels and lots of Shawarma over the years in Jerusalem and the food here is just as good. Crisp, moist and perfectly seasoned falafel. Exceptionally good shawarma and other delicious chicken dishes served schnitzel and kabob. Freshest middle eastern salads and hummus, eggplant, caramelized onions, grilled jalapeños, tabbouleh, different kinds of cabbage salads, sauerkraut and lots more. Oh, and did I mention the pita? It is delicious and the pita sandwiches are huge. A simple place with great food. Nothing fancy, just a walk-​up counter, where everything is fresh and custom made.
If you like Falafel and Shawarma, THIS IS THE PLACE.

The food is the best Israeli food in south Florida only one other place can hold a candle to the falafel and shwarma you get here. It’s the best falafel I’ve had outside of israel, come to think of it.

This place is great. The falafel is the best around. Great quick place to grab lunch for those in a hurry. Everything is fresh and made to order. You will not find a better place.

I eat here almost everyday for lunch. Benny is funny and great to his customers. The food is amazing, everything is fresh. The falafel is bomb.

Food is great plus fresh pita is a plus. I looooove the chicken breast platter and the falafel is amazing. My husband orders the «etsy etsy «(probably misspelled it) it’s supposed to translate to half and half which is half Falafel and half shawarma pita.

Best falafel since israel must order it with signature ungbak sauce! I have eaten the shwarma and its very tender they dont serve you the dried out pieces like levys in hollywood. I bought three falafel for my employees and they loved it plus it only cost me around 12 – 14 $ which is an amazing value for the quality of food. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.

Really fresh and flavorful Israeli style food — accompanied by great healthy salads — my first time there I was offered samples of all of the entrees and loved them all. Benny could not have been nicer. Love this place and will be back again and again.

This was the first time me and my wife were trying shawarma. I’ve had greek/​middle eastern food before, but she’s a bit of a beginner. :)
We loved it.
The food is fresh, abundant, and the place is extremely casual. Great for a quick bite or to take out!

This used to be a favorite lunch stop but my experience today changed that.
Went to lunch with two coworkers (two of us white, one black) and we all ordered the exact same thing. When it came time to pay, he charged one of us 25% more than the other two. Guess which one got up charged?
I’d love to say it was an innocent mistake but I was there and it was not.

If you are looking for authentic falafel this is the place! I lived in Israel for one summer and lived off of falafel and shwarma. When I came back to the states, I began the hunt for a good substitute. I stumbled upon this place on a Sunday afternoon. It is located in the back of a complex, right off of Hallandale Blvd. When you walk in, you’ll see a couple of tables and a menu written with chalk on the back wall. You walk right up to the counter and place your order. GET THE FALAFEL; You get to watch the falafel being made fresh as you order it.
They offer a wide selections of salads to add to your pita or plate (israeli salad, cabbage with mayo, red cabbage, taboulli, chickpea salad, grilled and fried eggplant, pickles, spicy stuff and more). When you ask for hummus and tahinni, they don’t skimp either.
Along the counter you can find plastic utensils, napkins, salt and pepper. Your handed your food in a small basket and seat yourself. They have a refrigerator with traditional malt, nectars, regular/​diet sodas and ice teas. Every time I’ve been, Benny has been there! He is friendly and knows his stuff.
After eating and licking off each one of your fingers, you can go up to the register to pay. I believe they take both cash and credit.
This place doesn’t have very much ambiance, but it is a great place for a quick meal. If you want authentic falafel, you have to stop by Benny’s!

I ordered a pita with half falafel, half shawarma and a bunch of delicious fix-​ins. The taste was out of this world and the falafel was probably the best I’ve ever had.
I’ve been day dreaming about my lunch all day… That’s when you know it was better than good :)

When Benny tells you that you’ll never find a better falafel and he saved you a ticket to Israel, the man ain’t kidding. It’s also no joke when he tells you that you’ll be full until the next day!
