NOLONGERBYOB. Reviews stated that they were still byob, but when my husband and I went last night they told us they aren’t doing that anymore because they sell beer and wine there. Anyways! The sushi was awesome! I loved it! Great prices. Big portions. Friendly staff. Fresh food. Super tasty! I’ll defiantly be back!

This place is definitely a hole in a wall. It’s super tiny. I’ve had a lot of sushi good and bad and this place wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best quality, taste, or presentation. We ordered a seaweed salad, sashimi entrée, volcano roll, and Cajun roll. The seaweed salad was okay, could have more flavor. The sashimi was okay but the portion was definitely smaller than most and one of the fish I got was still partially frozen in the center. The volcano roll was my favorite out of what was ordered, but the presentation on it was blah. The Cajun roll came out last and the presentation in it was really pretty. It tasted good but not as good as the volcano roll. I left full so that’s good haha! We used a groupon for this place and had absolutely no issues. In total it cost us around $ 55 bucks for the Sushi.

The sushi is SO good here. I won’t even eat anywhere else because it’s just so good. The smell of the restaurant is the only reason I gave it 4 stars… Always smells like sewer in there and I am not sure why!

Came up here at 11am to get some sushi for lunch. They did NOT open the doors till 11:19. When I walked in the temperature was almost 90° very miserable then I placed my order proceeded to pay for it using a Groupon which brought me here in the first place and the guy would not let me use it said I had to stay and eat my food, which would have been fine if it wasn’t miserably hot in there and I explained that to him if he would’ve opened on time turned the air conditioner on or better yet open the front door cause it’s very nice outside it wouldn’t have been so miserable inside and I might have been able to stay and enjoy my food but instead he argued with me and made me pay full price for taking it «to-go» Horrible customer service! Just horrible.

Great price for the amount and quality of food that you receive! The waiter was very polite and helpful with his suggestions. The location is kind of tucked away, but still a great find. Most importantly, their food was wonderful. I ended up with the Bento Box that came with Miso soup, fried rice, Teriyaki Chicken, 8 California rolls, a salad, and and Orange for dessert. The whole meal was priced around $ 10. Very pleased, and I will most definitely be back for more.

I’m almost afraid to post this because I don’t want this hidden gem to get too crowded. This place is very small and not particularly fancy. But it’s clean, and the sushi is simply amazing! Unbelievably fresh, great selection of roll types, and GREAT prices. All you can eat for $ 20, and Happy Hour/half-price rolls during the week. BYOB. Check website for hours: closed between lunch and dinner. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is due to waitstaff: one of the guys speaks NO English and you have to practically beg one of the women to take your order or refill your drink. The food is completely WORTH a little frustration with the staff. The Chef and the prices will keep me coming back.

Sushi was great! I had the Louisiana roll and the Tempura shrimp roll, both were delicious with decent plate presentation. The environment and atmosphere was average, even though the volume of the restaurant was slow, the server was busy on their phone. The main reason I am giving a 3 star review is due to misleading information. Their online website said they had an all day happy hour on Sunday. When asked at the location they insisted that their was no happy hour and that it was only Monday through Thursday. Food — Great Service — Average Information — Poor

We had sushi here started off wih calamari. Was not good at all, rubbery, bad breading & sauce was bland. We had three different rolls, would not recommend the volcano roll the others were pretty good just not worth a return. The waitress was very good, answered questions & was there whenever necessary. give them a try.

So. this was my first visit to this place after the current new management. I had stopped going to Ku Sushi? or whatever it was before that as the quality started to get bad… this place is a lot better now. I had the Sashimi sampler and it was great! Everything tasted fresh. My wife had the korean Beef dish, while the miso and salad were great, the beef was very tough. when we told out waitress, all she said was«sorry». I would have expected her to offer something else. or take it off the check. Anyway, that was the worst thing there… don’t order it. :) Stick to the sushi/sashimi/rolls. We also ordered Veg tempura, salmon roll(had salmon, avocado and cucumber), unagi sushi and ikura sushi. All were great. One weird note. we had to have our daughter in a high-chair, and our waitress didn’t allow us to put her on the side of the table… due to the fact that it may be difficult for her to get to the table next to us… i did understand her point. as we were just the second table at the restaurant… and there were at least 5 other open tables. Anyway Sake was free! ;)

I have only tried miso soup and a few traditional rolls but they do not disappoint. Not the best sushi I have ever had, but still WAY above your average hole in the strip-mall sushi. Very friendly staff, they didn’t flinch when I accidentally broke a glass! Which reminds me, it’s BYOB!

Been coming here every week now for the past couple months and they are doing a really good job. Quality of food is very consistent and so is the service. I usually have the all you can order sushi and the rolls are really good, not skimping on things or excessive rice added, great fish/rice ratio. The chefs and female waitress are always friendly and professional, never had a bad experience here. Still BYOB so we usually bring wine or champagne to drink with our meal. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place actually, not surprised that they only have 4 and 5 star reviews on here.

I enjoyed my visit here. The fish is very good and I am spoiled by the many sushi restaurants in Orange, County, CA so I have high expectations. I kept my variety to many of the basics including maguro, Hamachi, salmon and the spicy tuna hand roll. I was please to see they had tobiko so I enjoyed that with a quail egg. Love how the yolk just pulls everything together. My visit was on Valentine’s Day and I was a bit surprised by the lack of «couples» there during my short visit. I didn’t get involved with any of the rolls because that is just too much to eat by myself along with my other favorites. My only disappointment was the poke appetizer. I love poke and if you are going to put it on the menu it better take me back to my visits to Hawaii… this didn’t. I am not saying it wasn’t good but it isn’t poke in the traditional way. Tuna was mixed with their soy/teri sauce along with avocado and a medley of quad color masago eggs. Again, good but not poke. Give this place a try, it is worth going off the beaten path of steaks, BBQ and steaks.

Local family-owned feel, fresh, handmade. Pretty regular sushi house menu, the real draw is the all-you-can-eat sushi! The only catch is EVERYONE at the table must also order it. For $ 20 it is worth it every time!!! For non sushi eaters they have tempura, fried rice, cooked fish, and chicken.
