7-Eleven isn’t exactly the Ritz, but it is a NJ classic and it’s nice to have one up here finally. It’s good because it’s open 24⁄7 and you can get the basic stuff like milk, coffee, or other gas-station-esque type munchies here. This one is staffed mostly by kids, who generally are pretty friendly, but more often then not the service could be improved on. Every blue moon we’ll get some food to go, which almost always results in a deer-in-headlights look from whatever newbie is working that night. One or two times I was completely ignored for a few minutes while teenagers finished a conversation or picked their noses or whatever they were doing that wasn’t their job. Aside from that though, it is what it is. A 24⁄7 quick stop for junk food, bites on the go, tobacco, and emergency items like windshield wiper fluid and rock salt.
