While they have a large quantity of items to browse through, I find it pricey for a secondhand shop. Be sure to look in the nooks and crannies, as they have many unique items large and small.

A friend recently purchased a nice dresser here for about $ 45, so I wanted to check it out for myself – and I was not disappointed! While I didn’t find the nightstand I was looking for, I was impressed with the LARGE selection of furniture from antique, to mid-century, to contemporary. Everything was in very good shape(much better than you’d find at most second-hand stores) and reasonably priced. From week to week, the prices drop on many items – so if you time it right, you can get a really good deal. I was also happy to find a pretty extensive selection of other housewares, including lamps, dishes, curtains, cookware, and more. Again: nice selection of styles, quality items, and good prices. This is definitely a place I’ll be checking out for future furniture purchases.

I am just beginning to explore used furniture stores in the Buffalo area, so I may adjust this review as I become more educated about what is available. I am a connoisseur of thrift stores however. This store does both consignment and secondary retail. Some of the items have declining price points based on particular date ranges. The table you are squealing over today at $ 220 is only $ 200 next weekend, but will it still be here by then? When I went, they had a decent selection of couches and tables, a large assortment of dressers, and an impressive housewares section. The prices are higher than I want to pay, but the owner is willing to negotiate within reason(offering a 10% discount on a dresser I asked her to do better on). The housewares section is very well organized and has some really unique pieces. Several items caught my eye but I escaped with only a very awesome cookie jar that carried a $ 15 price tag(I grumbled that it was over $ 10 but it was unique and cute and I couldn’t really complain about the extra $ 5). The staff try to answer whatever questions you have, but they are far from experts and you should double check any information they provide. The selection was unique enough that I will definitely go back to explore some more. We were there for almost an hour and I don’t think we really got to see everything even in that amount of time — there was an entire costume jewelry station that I only spotted on the way out!
