I have lived in several places with Thai food. Never had I had such a wonderful, and relaxing and dining experience. From the quaint little street next to the art gallery, the convenient parking out front and out back, I enjoyed eating here even more than I did eating at the resort I came to visit. Proof of that is that I saw other resort guess at the same restaurant! We set a Nkosi little table next to the window. Our waitress came to us right away to get our drink orders. She made recommendations, was knowledgeable about the menu, and enticed us to hold out for after dinner drinks! They have a cute little menu with drinks you should have after your meal! Who does that?! I was tempted to go for the Pad See Eew but I went for Pad Thai. All the nuts and vegetables in a noodle based meal with awesome sauce at the bottom! My drink was the Craven martini and quite frankly I didn’t even eat dessert. Five, Six, Maybe Seven stars.

The very best Thai I’ve ever had– Ive tried every item on the menu and it is all perfectly delicious and consistent every single time without fail! Chicken Thai Basil with spicy fried rice is my go to… Tom Yum soup is splendid… duck salad is to die for

Went here while staying at crystal springs…7min drive and it was worth leaving the resort. Being from the New York area and having been to many Thai restaurants, I would say this place is incredible and they definitely take pride in culinary taste. The wait staff and owner are very friendly and they have a nice bar. I would definitely recommend getting the Thai ice tea, duck tamarind and pad Thai are great choices.

Our favorite Thai place in the area, an area not know for its culinary treasures. Service is always ys good, food arrives quickly, cocktails are tasty and pricing is reasonable. Have had just about everything on the menu and most is consistently good. I prefer the more traditional Thai dishes, but if you’re craving a good burger, the Thai burger is quite good.

We’ve been here before, the first time wasn’t anything to rave about. The second time, it was on the way home so we tried it again, and definitely regret it. Ordered Green Curry with Chicken, and they forgot the chicken but quickly fixed the dish. Husband’s fried rice was dry and flavorless. I I asked for chili sauce but was given sweet chili dipping sauce. You don’t play around with chili sauce with a Thai person. I also love my traditional Thai dessert and wanted to their sticky with ice cream– which was an odd combination. The sticky rice was not really sticky and no coconut flavor which is the best part of the dish– the dessert was a total fail. Overpriced dishes, décor is OK and the service is decent but Cravin Thai has made us lose the craving of Thai for a while. The bar may be the only plus for this place.

First time eating Thai food, that being said I can’t compare. Food was great, along with the atmosphere. Main course took a while to be served. After speaking to the waitress we discovered that is because every dish is made to order with all ingredients being fresh.

It is hard to find a Thai restaurant that will make their selections authentic, in that make it at the right spice level that they would eat it themselves. If you speak to the waitress and explain that you want it «authentically Thai» spice level, you will most likely get what you ask for, and be prepared to have it «SPICY». We enjoy the duck salad(ask for it spicy), and the Massamam Curry with chicken,(I ask for this to be mild spicy). Great flavor. A real treat is they make excellent martinis, a real unexpected pleasure. Of course they have Singha Thai beer. One thing I miss at this restaurant, is they do not have squid, I love squid salad. You will not be disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious. You could tell it was freshly prepared. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Some of the prices were a bit high for the area, but overall the food is worth the cost. I would definitely come back.

I was a big fan of another Thai restaurant in Sussex County. Then I came here. One, the atmosphere is really nice and they have a bar(not that I really drink). The thing that really rocks about them, the price for food and the amount of food make me feel like I got my money’s worth. The food rocks, love it! I now prefer to get my food from this restaurant rather than my old favorite. If I was to wish one thing, I wish they had a bean thread(glass noodle) soup. But I know I get my money’s worth here and the food is great. Highly recommend not just for to go food but to stay in.

The best Thai food in Sussex county. Love the atmosphere and their Thai selection. Perfect portion sizes too. The Thai iced tea is one of my favorites as well as their red curry dish. Excellent dine-in as well as take-out service too.

I’ve lived in the area for a while now and finally decided to try the place out. Having never actually eating Thai food, I really have nothing to base it on. Service was very good and it is in a good little spot with a nice atmosphere. I had Beef Curry and shrimp rolls with some hot soup all is good as advertised.

Must admit, I was rather shocked by their quality of food. They catered to my wife who has a gluten/rice allergy, she left satisfied. Being from Bergen county, we found our Thai restaurant but never thought we would find one as good as ours in Sussex county. Be careful on your spice selection, if your palate cannot tolerate the heat DONOT order it. The do however spice to your liking so choose carefully! We will definitely visit again.

My opinion of the culinary options in this part of the state is as follows: They aren’t the bottom of the barrel. They aren’t even beneath the barrel’s bottom. The barrel shouldn’t be mentioned in comparison because it is a grave insult to the barrel. That is why I was so shocked(in a good way) by Cravin Thai. We stopped here because, lets be honest– where the hell else were we going to eat? It was the kind of thing where I figured I could just pop over to the convenience store across the street afterwards and pick up some Pepto Bismol to stave off the inevitable attack of diarrhea. But then a miracle occurred. This place was good! The Pad Thai, Thai fried rice and Chicken Curry were balanced, delicious and prepared with a deft hand. The spring rolls were light, fresh and crispy– not dripping in oil. They even had a few craft beers I’d never even heard of on tap, which was also a great little surprise. And the food came FAST. What more could you possibly ask for? They seated me right by the bathroom even though tons of good seats toward the front were available… which I initially believed would be beneficial. But when the food came and I realized my preconceived notions were wrong, well… then I just felt like a pariah. Do I look like the kind of unsavory customer that should be hidden in the back by the crapper? Probably. In any case, the barrel is probably jealous of this place. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in town.

Very nice Thai restaurant just outside of Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge in Northwestern New Jersey. This is that part of Jersey you probably don’t know. I love Thai food, and knew what I was looking for walking in… it was the duck panang curry. It wasn’t on the menu, but they made it anyway. I’ll get back to that in a minute. I ordered the spring rolls, which they did a very good job on, and it came out in about 5 minutes. I had the Thai iced coffee to drink, which was right on target. Now back to that duck. As I said, it’s not a normal dish on their menu. I asked them to combine their duck with their panang curry, and to make it Thai hot or super hot. The owner smiled and said, «I can do that». Her name was Toula. For it not being a typical dish, they did very well with my favorite Thai food. They nailed the heat level for me, hehehe. The one drawback was that they do not have hot Thai tea, which is another favorite of mine. I would add that and duck panang Toula. Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to visit you again when we are in the area!

I have never sat at a restaurant WAITinG for so long. We sat just waiting for someone to come take our drink order for 15 min. Then another waitress came over and apologized that«no one told her we were here». We waited another 20 or more for an app. After that more waiting. Ten minutes for a beer. Thirty more for dinner. I understand it was a busy night but another table that sat after us drank, ate, paid before we got our food. I give one stars because the food was good. Just make sure you’re not the forgotten table in the corner.

Well balanced menu, and flavoring is perfect. Luncheon special is awesome, makes me want to return for full sizes entrée and more. If you live or play in the area, I highly recommend you visit. Perfect end to a day of skiing or biking.

This was a great dining experience. The atmosphere is warm and comforting. Nice place to warm up after skiing. The food is hand crafted and takes time to prepare. So relax and enjoy a pear martini. The Crisp Duck Salad is a must large enough for two. ENJOY

This place has so much potential to be great, it’s a shame they can’t get some consistency in the food and service. Our last lunch order consisted of Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice; all with chicken. They must have forgot both the peanut sauce and the chicken on the Pad Thai rendering it a bowl of plain noodles with a few piece of broken-up egg. The pineapple fried rice contained a few small pieces of pineapple and chicken but otherwise was a bowl of fried rice. The panang curry had very good flavor and heat, but again very skimpy with the vegetables and chicken; definitely not enough for a lunch portion. The few times we’ve dined in the service has been spotty; there appears to be a large amount of turnover with the waitress staff. They do have to creative tasty cocktails if you’re find yourself dining in. With a Groupon deal outstanding for a while now, beware of quantity over quality which is what we’ve been experiencing.
