Subway

This Subway has turned a complete 180 and won me back! They used to be out of everything and never prepared or stocked. Now since new management came in, the place is amazing! everything is fresh, the sandwiches are always great, and I am always recommended great new items to try. You guys did an awesome job for the tranformation of this location! Keep it up!

The Subway is located at Hawk Ridge by Redner’s. The food is Subway’s standard fast food (decent, not great). The store itself is dirty, not well kept. They’re perpetually out of basic ingredients (standard cuts, mayo, etc). In fact, this seems to be a problem with all the local Subways as well. That’s if you can find an employee. There’s almost never one behind the counter.
Got an Italian BMT that was missing half the ingredients. Rather than inform me they were out they made the sandwich anyway. The veggies in the sandwich were half frozen, and the entire thing tasted off. To top it off, the bread tasted stale and old. Yum. We also got a baked chicken sandwich… that came with generic chicken strips, They had apparently ran out of the seasoned Subway baked chicken and went to Redner’s to buy generic, bland strips as substitutes.
They also never, EVER seem to have soups… even though they advertise them.
We go to Loueee’s and Xiang Shan (both of which are right next door) and more often than not the employees of this Subway are hanging out in front of the store with friends, smoking or talking on their cellphones. More than a few people have gone up to the counter, waited… waited… waited… only to leave empty handed because nobody is behind it working.
Things really haven’t improved over the years, either. If you want Subway there are two right off 61 by the Walmart (they’re a step up, but not great). There’s just something really wrong with this store.
