I like Gap Kids — quality threads, good resale value for consignment if that’s your thing — I appreciate they make wonderful hand me downs for my friends/family. There’s usually decent sales, and the clearance if you shop for future seasons can really render some incredible savings. This location is rarely crowded, the layout makes it so you have to look are everything and a lot of things I find are not at eye level so I walk by 3 times before realizing where something is. Staff is lite, and don’t offer much assistance until you check out and they want you to sign up for a credit card.

I like coming to Gap because they usually have sales on the sleeveless shirts, as well as decent sales at various times. I came in once looking for black sleeveless shirts, and I found them 50% off, so I bought a couple, and came in a few days later, looking for more because my friends wanted some too. The store is rarely crowded, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Sometimes, I don’t get how the clothes are arranged, but usually just browsing around, one can find what they need. Towards the back of the store is the sales rack, where I usually go, and for the most part, it is arranged neatly and doesn’t have the picked over appearance.

I haven’t been to the Gap since they changed the cut of their clothing so that the ankle length pants no longer fit me at all in anyway: you see, the ankle length used to be petite. I’m not sure what ankle length really means anymore. But when this evolved, they pushed their entire petite line out the door and if I want petite Gap clothing, I have to order it online. Please tell me what petite woman doesn’t want to try her clothes on before she buys them… Other than that, it’s your typical Gap experience. However I recommend hitting up the outlet stores before paying full retail price…
