Joe spent about 20 – 30 minutes on my pretty simple haircut. His attention to detail is great and you will leave satisfied. So what if you’re not greeted like it’s a sorority house or a Moe’s? It’s $ 16 for a good chop.

I’ve been going to Joe for a haircut every 3 — 4 weeks for 13 years now. It’s all about product. Great haircut every time. Joe can be direct, but never let’s opinions impact the end result. If you are looking for a barber this guy is one of the best.

Times are rough according to Joe(Barber at Harry’s). In tough times we’re all feeling it, people don’t get haircuts that often. Understood. But hair’s what I don’t get. I still see guys going to Salon’s. At 40 bucks or more to be pampered, and maybe if your lucky you get see some 40 year old cleavage as she trims your bangs. If it all goes perfect, you end up looking like an Abercrombie & Bitch. Only $ 16, so you can save some cash, That price is competive with SuperChops and all the other former fry chef’s that got a job at the McSalon they have in the mall. A small price to pay for the attention of a skilled craftsman.
Its Green, since that’s the big craze. No mousse and no funky chemicals for dye Jobs. Just a man, clippers, vaccuum, and his razor. Its enjoyable. The conversation, is honest, open and real. Unlike the phonieness you end up with at mall. If he’s upset, you know it. If he’s happy you know it. He doesn’t let it affect his work, like we all strive for. Barbershops are politcs, they are sports, and relationships, They are girls in bikini’s. Its like being able to hang out at the Tree House with your buddies, a feeling you rarely get in the adult world. Who doesn’t miss that? I know the Barber Shop’s probably going the way of Cobbler, The Tailor, the Haberdasher but I hope not without a fight! Support your local barber!
