Now known as Weezy’s Route 66, this place serves up your typical roadside fare in a historic building. I just had the mushroom burger which was ok, but maybe a bit on the flat and heavy side. Next time, I would probably opt for a dinner plate just to see how they stack up against the sandwich selections. The restaurant is in the historic Village Inn building straight from the heyday of Route 66. Plenty of interesting memorabilia on the walls keeps the place pretty hip too.

Big signs advertising that this is a Route 66 supported and supportive business. It’s in a number of Route 66 travel books. Even if it weren’t in the books, it LOOKS welcoming. I want to support the businesses along Route 66, but t I won’t be back to Scotty’s. You can wash down greasy eats with beer a number of places without a surly waitress.
