Wish I could give a ZERO but have to score at least one. STOPBEINGCHEAP! $ 9 for a crappy pile lf lettuce!!! Next to NO toppings and when I asked for extra egg and cuccumbers, I was told no. I even offered to pay extra. My second time here and now my last time. People get ripped off all the time but getting ripped off over a salad!!! Definitely a new low in the food industry. Do NOT go here, I hope they go out of business if they do not start making changes and worth while to go there. Make the short walk to Acme and you’ll get a hell of a better salad yourself.

I have gone to this salad works since they opened a few years agi. The salads were great the, full of ample amounts of topics and dressing. They were a great meal. Then they started skimping on toppings and I stopped going. Recently, last week and again this week, I stopped in for 2 quick dinners. Big mistake. There were so little toppings on my salad last night I had to take it home and add more ingredients. They basically charged me for a bowl of lettuce with 4 tiny pieces of chicken, 3 pecans, a teaspoon of cranberries and a tiny pinch of shredded carrots. This would never have made a meal. There is another salad works in PA near my office and they have great, hearty salads. This place really gyps you. I will not be going back!

Tonight was the first time I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant. The woman in front of me was having issues when I walked in, but I wasn’t paying any attention to that. I ordered my base of the salad and proceeded to ask for Swiss cheese. Upon getting 5 measly small pieces, I watched the girl behind the counter put the shredded carrots on the woman’s salad ahead of me then take half of it back off and put it back into the container. When I asked for a few more pieces of Swiss cheese, I was told no. The woman ahead of them then said, that’s what I was just asking for and I was refused, too. At this point, two more customers had walked in and overheard what was going on. One of them stated that he had this same problem a few nights ago and spoke to the owner about it. I guess the owner would rather drive away customers than give an appropriate salad for the price point. I am a huge salad works fan, but will never return to this location. I will also be sure to make others aware of it. However, based upon other reviews and people I’ve spoken to, it’s already known not to go to that particular salad works.

For the most part this saladworks is clean and staff is most of the time friendly. I will say their product looks and tastes fresh. My only complaint is that thing they call«chicken». There is no way in hell you can tell me that’s real chicken. Sometimes it’s chewy. It looks rubbery but yet I still continue to go here. Most of the time, I will try to avoid the chicken or pick around it. I love love love the soups always. Veggie garden is my fav.

Never mind the fly I had in my salad once, but there seems to be a real problem lately with getting anything other than lettuce! I don’t mind paying $ 10, $ 12, $ 15 at saladworks, but this one in Hamilton doesn’t seem to get that I can buy a bag of lettuce at the acme in the same parking lot for $ 3. Apparently the manager seems to think 3 pieces of chopped tomato and broccoli is more than enough, and mentioned that he will be helping me from now on… really? You can’t just make a salad that is proportioned and worth the $ 10 without SPECIAL help?

Salads are tasty, fresh, with big portions. But $ 10 is still a lot for a salad and a drink. For that much, they should wash your car.
