The Barber Shop

Great sense of customer service, always nice people, nothing fancy, just the cut you want

OK so I have been here a number of times in the past but will admit I now go somewhere else that is more local that has a very similar business model. I believe my current place actually even copied the model from this place (or they were business partners at one point). Anyway.
So this one is far and away the biggest barber shop I have seen. Nice chairs, friendly staff, well maintained place and a quality process to «keep the line moving».
What I really like about this place is the fact that you can elect to wait for the barber of your choice (more on this in a minute) and they don’t give you that look like «Whats wrong with my skills» and from a price perspective they give a good deal. Their haircuts are good to very good depending on who you get.
The negatives to this place are it can get crowded cause its a populated area and you get a lot of «young adults» that work here so if you don’t do some screening on your haircut you may get an apprentice or someone new (the barbers do turn over somewhat frequently but I guess that’s expected). My preference is to always wait for the owner or someone I have used before.
Overall though a good place that I would recommend if you are a guy and looking to get a good cut in the area.

NOTE 2: I received a nice letter from the owner which I appreciate him taking the time to write. Things to note are that he pointed out that all of his barbers are full-​time and they have no part-​timers so I edited the wording of my negatives section above. I will however stand by the fact that I feel some are much better than others and I like to be selective on who I use, but thats not unexpected ***
Also, the owner included the below in the email so I updated my list of services offered. I was not aware of these services and have not tried them so I can not review them. Hopefully someone out there can comment on though.

My partner works almost completly by appointment, all you have to do is call with a little bit of notice. He can give you a gaurenteed appointment with no wait. In addition, if you are looking for a shave, this is another service that we offer with or without apointment. Also, walk in or appointment don’t forget about the machine massage that compliments any haircut. It’s great!!!»
