My favorite restaurant in town which doesn’t say too much because there isn’t a lot of good food in town… But I love their chicken fingers and their dressing. Sunday lunch buffet is quick but service isn’t quite as fast on Friday nights. But for Hamilton definitely 5 stars

The never ending BBQ tour continues & Bama-Q was worth the stop. Heading through Hamilton, on my way to B’Ham I soon discovered there wasn’t many places to eat. That was till I saw Bama-Q, the menu offered everything from BBQ to steaks including catfish and shrimp. I went with the BBQ sandwich topped with slaw & pickles. The BBQ was tasty with just a hint of smoke… perfect. They say people come from all around for their steak & shrimp, maybe next trip. Oh yeah free WiFi…

Over all decent but they need to learn what«well done» is when it comes to cooking steaks. Ordered a steak well done and it was still bright pink in the middle. Had it sent back to be grilled some more but it was still not well done when it was brought back. Still very pink. Besides this one issue everything else was fine. The barbecue was good as well as the sides. The waitress was very accommodating and nice. Had it not been for the steak not being cooked properly I would have given them 5 stars. Yes I probably will eat here again I just won’t order steak anymore. I’ll stick with the barbecue and chicken.

Good down home cooking. Lunch Buffett is good and lots of food for 8 bucks! Nice clean log building.

If you’re this far south, this is the place to go. It was the only restaurant I really enjoyed in Hamilton. It tastes like the south should taste. Super-greasy chicken tenders(buffets on Sunday for all the church goers) and with the rest of the week, it’s menu items. Grilled chicken was awesome too. My friends liked their meals. Okra is awesome. I liked the green beans. Very satisfied overall. Very weird hours, by the way. I recall it not opening until 4 pm on Saturdays… and I believe this is the case for the rest of the week. Sundays it’s open for early lunch.
