We have been wanting to eat here since it has opened and my wife’s birthday gave us the opportunity. We had 12 people and had to sit at more than one table which was a negative. Also no kids meal so we had to get chic fil a for the kids. That being said the kids loved watching the cook grill the food at our table and the food was very good. Highly recommend the ginger dressing that comes with the house salad. I got the chicken and steak hibachi and I preferred the chicken. One note is that they give you each item one at a time. First rice, then shrimp, then meat, then vegetables.

The atmosphere was just dead. We got there at 8:35 and they close at 10 but the server was busy closing down. We ordered sushi and fried rice. The food was good and tasted fresh but the place was empty and just seemed weird. Service was less than ok but again, it was 8:35 pm and Monday. The bathroom wasn’t filthy but had boxes stacked up. Looked like mom and pop problems in a corporate setting. I so wish I could do 3.5 stars because it wasn’t bad but not quite worthy of a 4 imo.

Standard hibachi grill with tired chef antics and impersonal waitresses. Food is not bad, though. Something to do once in a great while.

This is one of our favorite places. We’ve recently moved, so don’t go as often as we used too. The sauces are my favorite out of any other Japanese restaurant we’ve gone too and their Fuji Combination gives us a bit of everything. Makes me want it just writing this review! :)

Tonight was an unplanned, spur of the moment dinner date with some friends. We decided on Fuji House because. well honestly who doesn’t love a hibachi grille? Tonight, both my friend and I were feeling adventurous and decided to order something either of us would normally get: Calamari. I’ll start by saying what most husbands probably say a lot. «I should have listened to my wife» I don’t know if it was undercooked, not very fresh, or even bad, but it didn’t taste like any squid I’ve ever had. I was able to stomach though about half of it til I realized I would probably regret my decision later that night. And I was right. Also, my wife who didn’t stray away from her normal streak hibachi meal said after we got home that she didn’t feel well after eating it. I will return and give it another shot but I’m gonna need some time to digest the food I just ate. I hoping this was just an off night for Fuji House.

We loooove this restaurant and generally eat hibachi here several times a month. The lunch hibachi specials Monday through Saturday are this area’s best kept secret. The fillet they use is wonderful and tender and of great quality. Their fried rice is amazing. We always look forward to our next visit and have never had a disappointing experience here. We brought visiting family to Fuji house & they said it was the best they have had

Food is excellent, but a bit pricey for a vegan. Service was very good, if a bit slow at times. In the middle of the day, they seem to be a bit short staffed, but it seems to work out for them. There is no language barrier, people seem to be able to understand you very well. Which sometimes can be a bit daunting to somebody who doesn’t speak any Asian language whatsoever. The show was fantastic, I’m a fan of fire, so it’s very nice to see a used well. Our teppanyaki chef was personable, pleasant, and very skilled. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name, & I don’t think he offered it. I would highly recommend going to this place, if one was a meat eater.

Came in for a late lunch; sat at a non-hibachi table. The place was nice, the tempura was VERY good, my hibachi shrimp was a little dry but tasty(but then, I wasn’t at a hibachi table), and my wife’s noodle whatever was apparently superb. Good service, very attentive, and surprisingly reasonably priced lunch dishes. Works for me.

I came in here by myself as I am from out of town and ordered one roll… the rock and roll roll. It was so good. The restaurant was clean and the service fast and friendly. They do sushi and hibachi.

We order take out from here very often. Always great service over the phone and the food is fresh when picked up. We usually order the hibachi chicken and california rolls and both are always fresh. Also, once we had a large order and they took the initiative to call back and clarify the order shortly after it was placed and nothing was missing or incorrect when picked up. We’ve dined in before a few times and they were good experiences. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The service was polite and quick.

I’ve are here a few times in the past and today I give the place 3 stars. Nothing to special today with the service or food. $ 18.00 for lunch is a little steep. Had the chicken hibachi and thought the chicken was rubbery. Also had a California roll which had tuff seaweed wrap and was very small. Won’t be rushing back in anytime soon.

The food is good, but it seems like the staff either doesn’t care or is incompetent. When walking to our table, the carpet was soggy. The carpet is dirty, and it smells«off». Our friends ordered sushi when placing the drink order, which they never got. We asked for a refill on my fiancé’s water twice, and he eventually had to walk up to the bar to get another drink. The bathrooms are disgusting. I don’t think we’ll be going back, which is too bad because it’s the only hibachi within a half hour from us.

I went to Fuji House for my birthday dinner after hearing about how wonderful it was. … I don’t have a CLUE what they were talking about! This place is a no-go. It was dirty and the set up was strange. The waitress was rude and was giving me attitude because I did not want any rice(I have food sensitivities) and did not want any seasoning on my shrimp and scallops. She looked at me strange when I was giving my order and then rolled her eyes as she was walking away. We were served some miso soup as an appetizer that was cold and the waitress walked by and took it away from me before I even finished eating it — however, I didn’t like the soup enough to tell her to bring it back. The hibachi chef was nice enough but kept making comments about how disgusting it was for me to eat my food plain. Fair enough, but when you’re on a restricted diet, you don’t really want to hear comments from the peanut gallery. The scallops were very good blackened but the shrimp was horrid. One was so undercooked that I had to go to the bathroom and spit it into the toilet. For two people with just basic hibachi entrees, it was $ 57. Unreal. I will NOT be going back. And for the rest of you considering, go enjoy WG or Chili’s.

The food and atmosphere is what you would expect of a good Japanese restaurant. The service is pretty good. Definitely try the Miso soup(fantastic). Their sushi is like all sushi… good. This will be my go to restaurant when I’m in the area and in the mood for some Japanese.

I do not recommend. The place itself seems dirty. The food is just ok in comparison to other hibachi grills and I felt like the chefs were inexperienced with their showmanship. Their yum yum sauce is Not good, which is normally the part I love the most about these places. I won’t be going back.

Been before, but last night, 3÷7÷14, we went on a «date night». Party of 7(2 high chairs). Reservation was lost in translation I guess. First to arrive informed us that it was a 45 minute wait. I talked to the greeter who called over the manager that took the call she never recorded in the reservation book. We were seated right away. Of say 10 Hibachi tables, we are seated at a group with a table over ½ full. We had 2 high chairs, and one was a frustrated toddler. We sat. We decided. We filled out Sushi sheets for appetizers. We waited. And waited… 20 minutes later, held up my Sushi order to get attention. Didn’t help. We saw 2 Hibachi Chefs total, trying to deal with 10 grills. Have you been, you realize that at at least 20 min. per table, and all 10 grills full, they were in over their heads. We still waited. After 30 minutes of not even an acknowledgment and a drink order, we left and went to Frisch’s. As we were leaving a hostess said we never gave you your bill! I said, «We never ordered! We are leaving.» Good luck on a Friday night until a management team can address their growth, and fix their staffing issues. Nothing against the staff. They were all on the floor, and all working their butts off. Food was always good in the past, but my opinion won’t be changed to return until I see here these problems have been addressed. This is an example of a place that grew too fast, and couldn’t manage it. On a side note… The Frisches in Bridgewater did a fantastic job! When Fuji does you the same way, I recommend a Super Big boy with their FANTASTIC Onion Rings!

Admittedly this place did absolutely NOTHING to overly impress me, their food was fantastic. It wasn’t busy for a Saturday, the staff was just ok. The girl wasn’t overly friendly and didn’t offer any suggestions, but again the food spoke for itself. The sushi was as equally delicious as the hibachi food. The ginger dressing is by far my favorite of any hibachi restaurant. I feel like the staff should act a little happier to be there, and it would send this place over the top. Off first impressions I anticipated it being MEH, but was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely go back.

It’s like a cheaper Benihana’s with better food. We came here for Christmas Eve. The chef’s always out on a good show, everyone seems to genuinely enjoy their experience– the food as well as the service.
