This is your average, slightly-below-average bagel place. The bagels are puffy and pretty flavorless. Redeeming characteristics? Pretty cheap, nice people, egg whites. They also have Korean food.

I went in there today for the first and last time. They were rude, there was no «hello», no «what would you like?» and no «thank you». I am not going in there again. I don’t expect five star dining when I go into these small stores, just some common courtesy

I pass by this place every day on my way to work and have always wanted to stop by. I finally did yesterday morning. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and patient and if that were all that mattered, I’d give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, that is just not the case. I ordered 6 bagels. The price was really great. Less than $ 6 for 6 bagels is a great price in my area. When we got home, my daughter immediately wanted a bagel. I took one out of the bag and it felt a little on the hard side. I ripped it open and the inside was soft enough, so I gave it to her anyway. She didn’t seem to mind so I left it alone. A couple hours later, my sister stopped by, saw fresh bagels and dove into the bag. She barely ate any of it because she said it was hard and chewy. This morning, I took 2 bagels out of the closed brown bag they were in and they felt even harder. Not having another option ready, we tried anyway. Upon toasting them lightly and covering them in spreads that I had at home, we sat down to eat them. Edible. Barely. Very hard and chewy, not much flavor. I ate about half of the bagel. I don’t know the last time I ate only half of a bagel. I love bagels! We get better bagels to go at quickcheck. UPDATE: We’ve eaten here many times since my original post. If you are eating here or within an hour, the bagels are great. Don’t buy a bunch to go, though.

This place is closed most of the time, we tried going on a saturday morning! The one time we tried going and it was open, it was completely empty of customers. My boyfriend and I each got a bagel with cream cheese as we were suspect to the freshness of other ingredients they may have. Bagels were okay. One thing that really turned me off was their pumpernickel bagels(my favorite) were half pump and half white. Service was indifferent really. Will never go back here again.

Customer service sucks. It’s clear that they hate their job. The food was good and it was the only place open around here!

They have a sign out front that says«Lunch Combo $ 4.99.» I asked the lady behind the counter what the $ 4.99 lunch combos are and she pointed to the menu. After I got my food and went to pay she rang me up for $ 8. Apparently only a cheese sandwich is $ 4.99. They should remove or amend that sign because it is false advertising. The Chinese place next door might as well put up a sign«Lunch $ 1» since you could buy an egg roll for a dollar.

Bagels are good quality for a positive. Service is very slow and they often run out of the best bagels early in the day. Worst of all, the skimp on the cream cheese. Not cool. This bagel place is only a few minutes from my house, but I will drive further away in order to avoid the long wait.

A hidden gem for the Princeton area. Try the cranberry-chicken salad on a toasted bagel.

Definitely not going back there. It would have been 1 star if the bagel itself was bad. Go to Bagel Street on Sloan Ave, it’s much better. Bagel Place had too many red flags: hard to read menu, not busy, too big of a store = empty tables, small bagels, small portion sizes, bland eggs, crummy soggy potatoes with no flavor and they charge you extra for Egg Whites. Coffee is mediocre and they use thermostats to let it sit there all morning… not good. Service is friendly but they asked me to pay as i picked up the food when i am sitting down to eat. Recommendations for Bagel Place: Merge with a better bagel store, display the salads and cream cheese spreads, have the cooks visible behind the register, downsize the store, get better coffee, make bigger bagels, open up a lottery kiosk or better yet… just close down altogether.

Nice little place to get a quick sandwich. The bagels are good. Clean place to eat. Prices are reasonable.
