Webb’s Ole Smokehouse

It’s ok if you just need a BBQ fix but it’s not the best around. My biggest complaint was the price. It’s overpriced for the amount of food you get. The last and only time I ate there it was well over $ 20 for two people. There are way better choices with much better food within a 15 minute drive for less than $ 20 for two people. I wasn’t impressed enough to go back.

Me and my family stopped in to try to get some good barbecue. My advice would be go to the next one, doesnt matter what it is, subway, mcdonalds, anything. Unless however you enjoy paying 10 bucks per «plate» of bland, tasteless, unseasoned food. For my expense I got tasteless barbecue that looked like baby food with a somewhat tasty sauce, but it didnt really taste of anything without said sauce, no salt, no seasoning, not even a decent smokey flavor. My other sides, slaw that looked like cabbage and mayo, and green beans that clearly came out of a can. Neither with much taste. All in a small styrofoam plate that didnt do a lot for my hunger or my appetite. There is much better food for a much better cost closer to town. In short I would give 0 stars if i could, my families experience wasnt any better than mine.

We needed a rest stop on the way to Birmingham, and there just aren’t any places off the highway. Took a chance and stopped here. At 7:30pm on a Thursday night, the place was hopping. Delicious smells were emanating from inside. Small menu with just burgers and BBQ available. Ordered the BBQ sandwich which comes topped with pickles and cole slaw (had mine on the side). Delicious! Reasonable pricing, and great staff with fantastic personal service. Highly recommend!
