Brought my car in today to have a radio installed. We worked with a man named Adam and we could not have been more pleased. Adam was professional but personable and fun to chat with while he wired up the radio. He even took the time to reset the security code that had been set on the radio that I had forgotten. He was a big help to us and we will definitely return here for any car radio needs! Four stars for speed of service, professional service, personable service, and the extra mile Adam took to get the job done.

DONTBUYPHONESFROMHERE!!! I purchased Samsung GS6 from here, and was sold on the Verizon edge plan. The problem? You are supposed to turn in a working phone to qualify for the plan, which the sales rep failed to explain to me. In fact, I explained to them prior to buying my phone that my phone was destroyed. Yet they sold me the phone, and then a month later I get hit by Verizon for $ 340 bill for the phone. I called the store, and the manager was«busy.» I called Verizon, and they said call Best Buy. I call Best Buy’s 1 – 800 number, and they said go to the Verizon store. This has been a nightmare, and still hasnt been resolved, after multiple phone calls, long wait times, and the biggest run around ever. I was sold a phone under false pretenses by Best Buy, and now I’m having to do all of the legwork for their mistake!!! I will never buy anything from this place again

I don’t go to Best Buy nearly as much as I used to. I had been addicted to buying CDs and DVDs, but not very many the past few years. The handful of times I’ve been to a BB though, I have had a good experience. I went to this location to see if they could price match something, and I found very helpful employees who were able to get me what I wanted. They didn’t hassle me because I was price matching, or make it difficult. I have to say, for all the bad talk about BB, their price match policy is fantastic. The Hammond location is in the midst of several other stores, but parking was not a problem, and the employees were helpful.

This is about on par with most other locations. Staff is there if you need help, attentive but not overly bearing. The store has always appeared stocked and clean. This store does carry some Apple products, like the desktops but does not carry any of their laptop line like Mac Book Pro.

I LOVETHISPLACE! Everything for your home entertainment needs and also for the tech junkie. Employees I have encountered have always been nice and helpful. I recently bought a new big screen tv and pestered the sales dude with questions for about two hours before checking out. Not once did he get fed up with me and try to pawn me off on another sales dude. Selections have always been decent. I usually check the website for item availability before I head out to the store and only once have they not had an item that the site said was in stock. If you’re one of those people that still buys CD’s, you may find the back catalog a little lacking though. New releases are more prevalent. For you Apple fanboys, they seem to have a big selection of Apple products. I’m not an Apple groupie so I can’t tell if they should have more Apple items or not, but it seems pretty large to me.
