This is my favorite place for dessert hands down. Everyone is always very friendly and most of the time you see Eddie behind the counter helping out. The menu is not to extensive so you can easily pick something new each time you go. Everything is delicious and the prices are great. I would highly recommend if you are passing through Hammond or craving a delicious treat.

This place is beyond amazing! Whether you are on a date, taking a study break, or just taking your kids out for dessert, Eddie’s will surely satisfy! They have a drive through which can come in handy if you don’t have time to sit down. Also, the interior atmosphere is friendly and inviting ensuring a good dining experience.
Eddie’s has an ever changing menu that is posted on their calendar both inside and in the drive through window. They boast wedding cake Wednesday and strawberry Saturday along with the classic vanilla and chocolate custard!
If you are looking for fun twists on your favorite frozen confection alongside new treats, then Eddie’s is your place!

Been here several times and I finally get a chance to write a review. I don’t live near here, but every time I am I have to stop by for their tangy turtle! It is so yummy! Vanilla custard ice cream with drizzle of fudge and caramel with pecan. The pecan is always taste good and fresh every time.

They offer a wide variety of frozen treats. Friendly staff and owner is very nice. Drive thru window or you’re able to sit in or outside. The store is clean.

My family loves this place — the staff is super friendly and the frozen custard is just delicious. They always have vanilla and chocolate, but will change out a special flavor, for three options. The time I went recently, it was blueberry, and good.
You can go and get Blizzard like concoctions, which I would recommend. The famous Tangi Turtle has hot fudge, caramel, with roasted pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry. Who wouldn’t love that? I also am a fan of the Chunky Monkey (with bananas and brownie blended in.)
You must stop here for dessert when you’re in Hammond. I just wish I had a frozen custard place like this closer to me in Houston!

Apparently, if you want the flavor of the day, you have to get their at the opening of business. I have been there several times and they have not had the flavor of the day. I went last night at 8 pm and they close at 10 pm and they took down the sign for the flavor of the day. They didn’t even apologize for not having it. I went another time and they only had vanilla, not even the normal chocolate either. I would rather drive to Mandeville from Hammond than go to this place. The owner is rude and unapologetic.
