We are repeat campers here. Have lots of fun with our friends. We rented a cabin on opening weekend after the april flood 2016. Unfortunately it wasnt truly ready to be rented. The front door didnt work so we had to use only the back door to the cabin. The tv didnt work and had to be fixed. The bathroom door didnt catch to lock so you had to tell people you were in there so you wont get walked in on. The hot water heater broke we think saturday morning, because we did not have hot water on saturday or sunday to take showers or wash dishes properly. We brought this to the owners attention saturday but nothing. At checkout we were told«stuff happens». We spent 100 a night and when we inquired about a little discount for not having some basic amenities like hot water that we needed to get clean we told«thats the way it goes sometimes, stuff happens». I work in a customer oriented job and i am sorry but this is just very very bad customer service. Its a shame the actual owners wont be nice and help accomodate a customer that is paying a lot more than any other rv camper or camp site camper. Yes«stuff does happen» but it isnt the guests fault. Dont make us pay full price for amenities they we didnt get.
