Luke’s Gas Station

This is the gas station I come to when I leave my client’s house who is only 10 minutes away when I need to fill up for cheap since gas in Chicago has gotten ridiculously high and overpriced especially in certain neighborhoods. I can keep my car filled each week with inexpensive gas and many people from IL are coming over for gas because the Cook County tax on fuel has been too high and many people can’t afford to keep paying the high prices along with some gas station owners (mostly Arab and Pakistani) who are price gouging to make an extra buck. The gas here ranges from $ 2.49−2.69 but nothing at the $ 3 mark so far. Seeing how close this place is those who live on Avenues M and O which are close to the state line can actually drive 5 minutes away for cheap gas and save a boat load of money each week fueling their car. For those of you who smoke can get a good deal on cigarettes since the tax on those is pretty cheap as well and many of the gas stations sell them for a good price. I also like how I can get gas and I am not being harassed by homeless people and drug addicts begging for change and asking to pump your gas for some money.
