I really, really want to like this hotel but it’s just not going to happen. The employees are very friendly and helpful but this place needs a major overhaul. Uncomfortable beds, rooms that never cool off and terrible housekeeping(I don’t even want to talk about the things that I saw in the daylight the next morning). The only two positive things that I can say are it’s cheap and there’s a great restaurant across the street.

When it says one star you should listen and avoid it. We were placed in the outside area and it is a very undesirable clientele and our non smoking room smells like a ashtray… The friend who booked with us got inside room by the atrium and it is very nice. Refuse to stay in an outer room

I would give it a zero if I could. We checked in and 30 min. later checked out. Hotel smelled of mold and the was dirty. We were given a room. Took all our things there only to find the room had people already in it. Then back to the desk given another room and the key didn’t work. Went to the desk to tell them we wouldn’t stay and multiple others were having the same problem.

I would rate this place a zero if I could. First of all, the place should be shut down. Who puts window A/C units in an indoor atrium? This has got to be some kind of code violation. My wife and I were in town for my dad’s funeral and we got to the hotel around 10pm. Nobody had turned on the A/C in the room for us before arrival. Its August in Louisiana, enough said. The room was an inferno. Upon further inspection of the room(Room 208) there was wallpaper falling off the walls in the bathroom, bugs smashed on the wall, a water bottle on the side of the bed, trash on the side of the bed, etc. So, 3am rolls around and our room still hasn’t cooled off and I have gotten no sleep. Had to get up early for the funeral and getting really frustrated. We are then switched to Room 210 and the A/C worked. It still took over 2 hours to cool the room down enough to get some sleep. We had to get up at 7am to get ready so the max sleep we would get now is 2 hours. The front desk and management would have known that if they did their job. Speaking of the front desk, the people on duty that night should be fired immediately. Rude, condescending, and absolutely no customer service skills. They call themselves the manager on duty but have no managerial authority. Not to mention, the 2nd night we were there, after the funeral we were locked out of our room because the front desk did not code our keys for 2 nights. My wife went down to the desk the morning of check out and talked to the GM and she gave us the first night free. I believe the 2nd night should be free as well due to us being locked out of room with several items brought back from the funeral in our hands, not to mention being talked to rudely by the Front Desk guy(Justin might be his name). This hotel literally screwed up every aspect of hospitality imaginable. The experience we had wasn’t worth 2 cents. I am going to find every possible Hotel Review Website and warn people to not stay here. It was the most difficult time of our lives losing a loved one and we get treated like dirt. You people should be ashamed of yourselves, your staff, and your cleanliness.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Do NOT book through Priceline! I booked my room over 45 days before and I was fully charged on my credit card thru priceline. I go to check in and the guy«Tim» said nope sorry it was sent back to priceline no go. Wtf do you mean no go?! I was fully charged! Priceline told me they weren’t notified at all. After spending 30 mins on the phone with priceline they were able to book me a different hotel. Read tripadvisor about this place. It’s horrible. Sketchy too
