Hey! … It’s a Wal-Mart not a Sak’s Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus, so adjust your high class champagne expectations back down to your real reality of a cold PBR(Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer). This Wal-Mart is stocked to the gills and this store is gigantic! You will find what you need in here at a very reasonable price. Yes, the employees may not strike it rich working at Wal-Mart but your household will save a few bucks along the way. Be thankful Indiana that you have such a great store in your midst! Enjoy!

Site to store at this location is ridiculous. Waiting in line with one person dealing with a line of 15 people. After greeting you, she has to go to back of store to retrieve your items. Whole process seems to take 15 – 20 minutes per customer. Went to find a manager and when I found one she told me she could not help because she was off the clock. This place has very bed customer service, which is disappointing considering it is a new location.

Where do I start? These tire shop technicians do not have an idea of what they’doing! They have balanced my tires 3 times already! These tire shop guys are rude, except for one! Andreide I believe that is his name! The manager, man!!! He is not helpful at all and besides he does not know much for a manager, he blames his teammembers when something is wrong and he just keeps doing ig and doing it. Joseph, this guy keeps driving cars outside their parking lot, supposedely trying to check cars, He does not have an idea what he is really doing but he is still driving and testing cars after or before they are done fixed! Lazyness and lack of knowledge is the perfect description for this Crew!!! Did I mention they take forever to take your info! Just imagine how long they take to get your car fixed!!!

The old Hammond walmart was always a pain and headache to go to, so when the new one opened, I was excited to get a better experience… that was DEFINITELY not the case. I had the WORST experience I have ever had in any walmart today. Every worker, besides my cashier, was completely rude, even what seemed to be a higher up(manager or lead) showed no interest in helping. I could understand if I was rude myself, demanding or just being loud… nothing but smiles, please, and thank you coming from me and I received nothing but blank stares, slow movement, and a few just walked away from me! I almost got hit twice by workers pushing dollys. bc one had his eyes closed and the other girl felt like she wanted to race to get in front of me. I never felt so invisible in my life. Even after being so nice. The worst part, I just had a baby 2 days ago and needed help putting stuff in my car. and explained that to manager, she said she would try and find someone to help and turned the other way and started talking to someone else. I get my car. Took a few min, waited a few more min, and had to go back in and tell the lady I still needed help. She flags down a kid after another few min. And he drags his feet slowly to the car I said thank you, I really just need help w this dresser. Not one word for him. Then I smiled and said thank you. Nothing but blank stares and sluggishness. And he walked away… almost INTO me! Like wow! If I didn’t need the stuff right away for my nb I would have returned it. bc the service was that ridiculous. I feel bad for cabelas and their reputation… now they have this beautiful walmart next to them filled with rude incompetent employees. I can definitely say, the Hammond walmart. was NEVER this bad. And that tells you a lot! Rant over.

My first visit to this Walmart. I have never seen many employees with poor customer service skills. Especially the lady at the checkout. She did not say a word, just kept chewing gum the whole time. Food wasnt much bettor. The ham at the deli was the worst i’ve ever had. Not going back.
