Not a bad place for a light lunch! We went mid-afternoon on a weekday and it was pretty dead, but we had a good experience. I had a delicious bowl of corn chowder with a biscuit that hit the spot on a early spring afternoon. My boyfriend had a sandwich and some great fries! Nothing fancy, but a nice, old fashioned place to stop in for a quick bite.

Cute little ice cream parlor with an old fashioned feel. They serve Perry’s ice cream, which is delicious, and often have flavors that you can’t buy in the store.

The food here I wouldn’t consider food. Their version of mac and cheese is from a box that costs 6.50 for not even 2 ounces. The soup of the day tasted like it came from a can with a piece of last night’s leftover broccoli thrown in. The packaged saltines were stale as were the potato chips which tasted like they were from the night before. The only saving grace of this meal was the one scoop of ice cream that came with the kids mac and cheese meal. Would not recommend this place for a meal.

Good ice cream, reasonable prices comparatively, and set in a cute town. Nice center square grass area to relax in. They had food, and it looked good, although I didn’t have any.
