This brewery makes unbelievably good beer. The staff is wonderful, the building is beautiful and the beer is excellent. If you ever find yourself in the area and you enjoy beer, you need to try this place.

Of the three breweries on Keuka we tried one Saturday morning, this was the winner(not including Abandon Brewing). Small parking lot, not much space if you have a ton of people. Very open with lots of seating, I think there is more seating then there is parking. The owner was a very nice woman who explained the idea that it took a while to start up the brewery. Ironic but fitting I guess. You could try a tasting for $ 4 for 6 beers or $ 5 for 6 beers and you keep the glass. To try the extra two would cost you a dollar. We chose the glass + beers. Beers weren’t too bad, nothing to blow us away but we enjoyed talking to the owners and learning about their different types of beers. Loved the atmosphere, it fit in perfectly with Halloween. Very clean and unique. I liked that about this place. They also have some of their beers at Heavenly Brewing Company, so it’s nice to see the local places working together.

Have been here about 10 times and they almost always have something new. Good, well-balanced beers. All are good, most are very good, some are excellent. Owners and staff are so nice and welcoming. We go out of our way to stop in when we are in the area. Can’t recommend enough.

I. Love. This. Place. The only sadness is they don’t distribute in my hometown! Their beer is fantastic — and so are their names.

Beer– The beer was great. I believe we had a brown ale, about 3 other ales, and an amber. I prefer the darker beers but can appreciate all beer if it’s made well and I thought all the beer here was good. We actually got a Howler of beer to take home with us. Atmosphere– This was a very cool tasting room. Had an old farm house feel to it that was decorated partially industrial so I liked the style of the whole tasting room itself Customer Service– The service was so-so, that is why I give it a 4 stars. Perhaps people were irritated we came 20 minutes before closing, but any winery or brewery on the lakes that are open until 6, will always be the last stop since most others close at 5, therefore, everyone will plan to hit up the 6 oclock ones last. The workers were not in any mood to have much conversation or engage in the name behind the brewery which was a bit of a bummer but like I said above, very good beer in my opinion.

Another brewery in the heart of wine country. The Brewery of Broken Dreams is an ironic name which commemorates the owners’ previous failed attempts to get started. I don’t know much about beer so I can’t tell you if it’s a dream come true. The Bellwether Hard Cider from Trumansburg that they serve was good enough for me. The tasting room is on the ground floor of the old building, brewing above. Small parking lot ensures it won’t be too crowded. Nice ambiance and fits in well with the vibe of Pleasant Valley. Someone else can tell you about the beers, I’m just happy to have another choice around the village.
