Our go-to take-out when it is my boyfriend’s turn to «cook dinner». Food is great and prices are good. We usually order combo meals and have dinner and at least 1 lunch each :) The staff is super friendly. We don’t usually dine in, but the restaurant is nice, quiet and clean. This is the best Chinese food in the area!

Great food. Friendly staff. Seafood corn soup is excellent. One of my favorite dishes is the Shanghai prawn, shrimp with Snow peas, mushroom and Broccoli.

Good quality consistent Chinese food with great service… so long as you ask for Ron. There are only 2 waiters there and the young guy always seems like he is having an anxiety attack so stick with the elder statesman and he will take great care of you. I have tried a number of items and you really cannot go wrong aside from maybe the General Chicken but if your reading this you shouldn’t be ordering that anyway :). I only gave it 3 stars because it really isn’t anything super special but a great value nonetheless.

The Grand is easily the best Chinese in Hammonton. It’s about as «upscale» as you’re going to get in Hammonton as well. I’ve had dinner in the restaurant and ordered takeout more times than I can count. The staff is awesome, especially the older gentleman who’s always there. One time I overdrew my bank account(I was 17!!) and he let me take my food and come back to pay later. Everyone is friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food is better than average Chinese. Not nearly as greasy as some places, and their sauces aren’t overly sweet(I hate that.) I’ve always loved their chicken with broccoli and shrimp with broccoli. If I’m dining there, the Princess Chicken is super yummy. They also bring you the orange slices after your meal! I would’ve given them that 4th star, except for one thing. I ordered takeout here once, and when I dipped my fork into the shrimpy gooey saucey goodness, I pulled out a screw. Like, that thing that’s holding my wooden desk together. It was in my takeout container, mixing around with the broccoli and shrimp and yum. No idea how that happened, since a random screw should never be lying around your wok. Obviously I stopped eating at that point. I’m sure it was an accident, and nothing like that had ever happened before, but that was the last time I ordered takeout from The Grand. Still your best option in h-town though.

The food here is good and the waiters are attentive. I’ve eaten here a few times and have had take out endless number of times. The food is better than your typical takeout. The name is a bit deceiving because it really isn’t «fine» dining afterall it’s located in a strip mall… However, the restaurant is nice. I’ve celebrated my cousin’s graduation party here and family reunions. The staff are attentive and the food is up to par. I wouldn’t say I’ve ever had anything I didn’t like here. –You start off with some cripy wontons and sweet and sour sauce on the table. –Awesome crab wontons, probably the best I’ve had.(They’re stuffed with crab and cream cheese). –Love their soups the beef and tofu or the chicken corn are both favs! –Fried dumplings, another plus it ends with a sweet finish(Ok maybe it was just one batch because i had it after some icecream) –Beef lo mein it’s not as oily as most chinese places, still pretty good –Shrimp fried rice… ’nuff said –If you ever order takeout here, expect the girl who answers the phone to always get your order right(cause she does). Also the last tid-bit is that they always keep your water glass full. 5 stars in my book!
